I was SO impressed with my meal! The selection was amazing. They had everything! The flavors were incredible. The music was mellow and upbeat. The service was friendly. The restaurant specializes in home cooked foods ranging from fried pork chops, baked chicken, and salmon croquettes to collards, butterbeans, and devilled eggs. Selections vary daily, but the standards like fried chicken and macaroni and cheese are always there. Diners can eat inside the restaurant or take meals to go. Plate choices include meat and vegetable combos or the buffet option. Parking is beside the restaurant on a side street, but there are a couple of handicapped spots directly in front.

Food for the soul is an understatement. This food bring ya back to nanny cooking. Those greens have ya jumping up hollering in ya holy ghost 7s. That fried chicken have ya stomping in your preacher 12s. Honestly the best fried chicken, collar greens, and fried okra I’ve ever had. I’m straight up soul drunk right now. Yum
