Stopped in with a coworker when we were in town for a work trip. Fantastic! Everything was delicious. Chef & staff were so nice. The chefs mom was there giving us water, she was lovely & so proud of her son.

The service was great and so was the sushi. The waitress was attentive but not annoying. The owner seems to know a lot of the customers personally and came to check on us as well. As for the food… We had some great rolls. The green pepper shrimp and the red dragon were two of our favorites. This place is definitely now our go-to sushi place beating out where we were going in Logan Square.

Just finished a late lunch here, this was my first time trying sushi and I’m super inexperienced. The server was amazing, he first let me try out a sample of seared salmon! (My first words were literally “wow”) To say the least, it was amazing, I ordered the salmon crunch rolls, and the fried pork gyoza! I highly recommended this restaurant! Super friendly and amazing service.

Thank you for the great hospitality! The appetizers and maki rolls were delicious! The crab rangoon has the perfect balance of cream cheese and crab meat. The maki rolls are prepped with the right amount of rice (not loaded like other sushi restaurants). The house made sauces complement the maki rolls and are an added touch! Will return to try other dishes!

Its called FRESH SUSHI for a reason … its EXACTLY THAT – FRESH ! You go in and the place is very clean and peaceful. The two owners are present and enthusiastically share their love of sushi with you. I cant recommend 1 sushi because honestly they are all remarkably made. Each has their own unique design and flavor. The portions are generous and all the fancy frills are not overseen. Elegantly plated and wonderful staff. The taste is OUT OF THIS WORLD ! I cannot overstate this ! The nigiri MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH. Your senses are awakened by the combination of house made sauces and fresh sushi. Its a cross between comfort and luxury.

I’ve had take out from here twice now and both times did not disappoint! First visit we had chicken teriyaki dinner and second visit I had a couple different rolls. Both times the food was fresh and flavorful. My pic isn’t the best quality bc I was sooo ready too eat!

A great neighborhood sushi spot. Super friendly and attentive service. The sushi and poke was good, and BYOB is always a plus. We’ll definitely be back. My 2.5 year old nephew loved the avocado roll. Easy street parking.

This was without a doubt the best sushi I have ever had and I’m 67! We started off with appetizers of crab Rangoon and chicken wings. I know, at a sushi restaurant chicken wings?! The wings were delicious, but the sauce they serve with the wing was unbelievable, unbelievable!! The crab Rangoon‘s are sometimes cream cheesy tasting these were crab tasting with just a subtle taste of cream cheese. I haven’t even gotten to the rolls. Amazing, did I say amazing?! I cannot even describe the feeling in my mouth as I tasted each one of the four different rolls that we purchased. I will post pictures. I would talk for about an hour about the different textures the spicy, the sweet, the crunchy! This place is a must go to. I drove from Oak Park and traffic down Cicero Avenue and will be a regular. I didn’t get the chef’s name but had time to chat with the owner, Guam. I’ll let him tell you about the amazing cuisine!!!
