This is my first time eating pizza here and I heard that the pizza simply was not good and it was one of the worst in chicago aside from what they claim. I don’t think it’s the absolute BEST pizza in the world. I think it’s pretty good to be honest. The crust was soft, though the cheese slides off the crust a little to easily, regardless I think the pizza they have there is great because of quality and quantity of the food serviced. If you are looking for a pizza to bring home for the family and you want quality, this is an a good place to go. The pizza is made right in front of you and the ingredients seem much more fresh than most places. The employees were very pleasant to interact with and everything came out in a timely manor as well as in the time frame given at checkout. I enjoyed my meal here.

The food is always fresh so there is no complaints there. The food is usually good. However be careful with the Alfredo I used to be a fan favorite but it’s deftly a hit or miss. This time the sauce was soupy which I’m not used too also the shrimp is way smaller than they usually are but still charge same price also stingy with the shrimp so you have to ask for extra and pay extra. Try at your own risk. Zucchini and marinara sauce was amazing as usual well seasoned with rich sauce.

The food here is pretty good, especially the pastas. The pizza is decent. Nice side salads and soup. Service is 50/50, sometimes you get the awesome team and then other times you get the ‘other’ team. The place is clean and open, if you wait inside you can see them cooking.

I would caution against ordering from this establishment, both online and in-person. Unfortunately, my recent experience with their online ordering system was quite frustrating. Despite clicking on “order pickup,” the order did not go through due to issues with their online system. I only found out about this when I arrived to pick up my order. When I inquired about the payment I had already made, the staff informed me that I would need to contact the third-party website I had ordered from. They did not take any responsibility for the issue or offer any compensation for the inconvenience caused.

So glad we stopped here for dinner while visiting Chicago. I can see why they won the 2018 title of best pizza. The deep dish pizza was amazing. The sauce is flavorful and the toppings we had were yummy. Sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers. It’s neat if you had time to sit and watch them make the pizzas and put them in the over. If you’re in Chicago you definitely want to give Gianna’s a try.

I don’t normally do this. I ordered pizza before and I never had a problem with any other pizza place giving me half or a 1/4 of what I ask for on my pizza. I personally talked to the manager and she made it seem as if it was my fault that the pizza came out wrong.
