I gave this bakery another chance as it was one of the only open breakfast options in Chicago near my hotel and I was again left disappointed. This was flavorless and dense. Think expired Costco croissant and even with the “white chocolate pistachio” it was flavorless. Extremely disappointed and I do not recommend.

Super cute cafe! Tasty breakfast sandwich and yogurt parfait bowl. Loved my cookie latte as well. Plenty of breakfast and lunch options, plus many pastry choices. Bonus: Open on Saturday! I’d definitely go back again.

I came here to try the pistachio white chocolate croissant after seeing pictures on google. Sadly, the croissant was very light, a good croissant has to be heavier in weight and it was super dry, like stale, I do not think I was served a fresh croissant. Also there was barely any filling. I strongly recommend you guys to go to Italy and try some real pistachio croissants. And I didn’t even expect it to be like that, because we are not in Italy, but that was poor :/. Serving stale pastries at more than 6$ really doesn’t deserve any stars, to be honest. Salads looked nice, should have had one of those.

SO GOOD! I was in a not great mood when I arrived here, and then a bit disappointed they didn’t have soy milk. So I was ready to be disappointed. But then I got back to my office and tasted the food. Oh my goodness, it was delicious. The killer bee latte was delightful. Perfect balance is sweet and spicy. The sandwich was way better than your typical breakfast sandwich. It was the impossible breakfast sandwich. I’ve had them from Dunkin and Starbucks and this one was light-years better than those. It’s a little pricey but so worth it. I’ll definitely be back!
