Ordered one starter, a plate of chicken 65 and one ice tea as a part of brunch. The cost was just 20$ with perfect taste of the chicken 65 along with quantity for almost 2 people eat in full (max 3 people) for one plate.Ambience and service were good and at par other best dine-in Indian available in downtown Chicago.

The restaurant was bustling with customers, so we thought we had made a good choice. Then when we ordered, the staff was also very cordial. But the central part, the food, was not up to par. I love my Momo and Thakali set. These dishes represent Nepalese cuisine to the core. However, the flavor was missing, and I think they forgot to add salt to both dishes. The sauce for the momo was so bland, and the chicken momo had an overpowering taste of cabbage which was not correct. I know this because this is my go-to comfort food, and I make them at home. The place must serve something good because we saw people continuously coming in. But I wouldn’t recommend this place for its Nepalese cuisine because it doesn’t do justice to the flavors of Nepal and wouldn’t advise anyone to go if there is truly missing authentic flavorful food of Nepal.

I and my friend along with his family went to Gorkha restaurant yesterday evening. In this restaurant, the taste of the food, the atmosphere and the family courtesy of the staff of this restaurant were much better than I expected. I would advise everyone to arrange time and go to this restaurant with family.

I have been to many South East Asian restaurants and I have to say this has just become one of my favorites! The fried chicken Momos were absolutely delicious and I also tried the shrimp tikka masala was awesome as well. Kiran, my waiter was very friendly and kind! Thank you so much. Delicious! The naan is perfect, we buy extra so we have leftovers. Really great addition to the neighborhood. We had the butter chicken and Kadai Chicken. Yum! Can’t wait to try more!

The service was great. I just didn’t like the butter chicken because the honey flavor was too strong. And the chicken madras had no coconut flavor but I have nothing to compare it to. So overall I was disappointed but I am willing to try other things another time.
