customer service was okay I was greeted by a lady she took my orderI had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra the total was $7.57 starting with the chicken fries steak it was okay it could have been fresher the mashed potatoes were delicious however the gravy look like coffee and cream flavorless the okra was hot and crispy just a little too well done.

My last two encounters with this location have been horrible. Every time I order lunch they are always out of something. The first time they didn’t have chicken made for the chicken sandwich and said it would take like 6 minutes to make. Given that I already waited 10 min to order and had to get back to work, I couldn’t wait 6 minutes. The second time I ordered they didn’t have macaroni and cheese, for my order. The server started to give fries and when I told I didn’t want fries but mac and cheese, that is when she told me they didn’t have it. When I decided to cancel my order the server gave me an attitude and said “Why didn’t I tell her before that I didn’t want fries but macaroni and cheese before she made the sandwich..” I simply told her, I shouldn’t have to. You’re a restaurant and if you guys don’t have something you should communicate that to your customers before placing the order. Very poor customer service skills. Not pleasant at all. Last time I go to this location.

A good place to walk to if you are in the area or parked nearby or at the Dallas Convention Center. Located in the lower level of the Bank of America Skyscraper (The tallest building in Downtown Dallas). It gets busy, especially around lunch time. Limited days/hours (M-F 7a-3p). Typical Grandy’s fare.

I love Grandys food but be warned on this place. The food is good but the location is in the under ground shopping area and they close early. If your driving you will have to find a parking spot where you pay to park and then walk down to the restaurant.

Awful food. The chicken was dry, the corn was flavorless, and the gravy was the consistency of water. It had no flavor at all. I would never go back here, and I don’t recommend you go here either.
