I used to love this place before COVID happened. Before, we would be able to set up our sauce how we wanted. Now a days, the worker would dip the spoon (Which is a stirring stick btw) into whatever and barely touch it into the bowl and call that a scoop. And this happened to me several times already, each resulting in dry noodles.

My husband or my friends who born in here loves this food. It is so fresh.. I choose ingredients what I want to put and then they make it after I order. So delicious

I always have to stop by Great Khan’s when I’m at the Los Cerritos center. I mean look at this and tell me you’re not mesmerized. It’s so fun watching the staff cook my food right in front of me. The amount of food is enough to last me at least 2 meals so it makes it an even better deal.

This use to be the spot before COVID hit. Now is not even worth your money at all. I just went in today decide to give it a try once again big mistake. Your paying more for a veggie bowl then meat. Before you was able to serve yourself now they do it for you. They are cheap with meat now they use a scale to see how much they will give you and if you ask for more it’s an extra charge. Idk how they are still open. Only for 2 ppl I spend like $40 + and your plate is not even full. I rather go eat to an actually restaurant like Olive G, BJ or Cheese Cake Factory.

I gave it three stars because you can’t expect much from a mall restaurant and the man at the register was nice. The bowls are small, not very many toppings, price is the same for real restaurants, and the lady adding the sauces looks annoyed when you ask for really any sauce. The noodles aren’t very good and the meats are large pieces so you can’t put hardly any meat in the small bowls. If you want good Mongolian go to a real restaurant for it not here.

Great Khan has been one of my favorite places to eat stirfried veggies for years. It is fairly clean when I go and they will refill the veggie trays if they’re going empty. During highly busy times it can get messy, veggies dropped by patrons on the counters, but never so much that I’m uncomfortable. They cook multiple meals at once on the round flat top grill. I’m usually out of there fairly quickly. Aside from cook time which is about 5 minutes per person. The workers are always polite.

Today, I was shopping at the mall with my mom and had to hit up the food court for lunch. Of course, we walked around the food court to grub on all the free samples – Steak Escape, Ruby Thai (not to mention Yogurtland, Auntie Em’s – but I digress). We settled upon Great Khan’s because we’ve never ordered from there before. Let me tell you, you should’ve seen my food bowl. It was like the leaning tower of Pisa as I stuffed it to the gills with frozen turkey, onions, green onions, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic, various sauces and anything else I can cram into it. Slices were flopping all over as I tried to bury more & more items into my bowl. The cook took the bowl from me and then placed it on top of chow mein, to make it even bigger! After that, cooking took a few minutes. It was quite a bit of food, needless to say. We found it very tasty & we lovingly finished the whole container, while cooling off in the mall. It was great. I will dine hear again sooner than later.
