This was my first trip in YEARS to the City Market, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the facility looks. The vendors were super nice and informative. I had a combo with a slice of Meat Lovers Pizza, salad, and a drink. The pizza was awesomely good. The salad left a lot to be desired for my taste, although the ingredients (iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and 2 whole banana peppers) were fresh. My companion had the Chicken Fettuccine combo with a salad, garlic bread, and a drink. She gave the fettuccine 2 thumbs up, but wished the salad had black olives and cheese – or, something more “Italian”. Both meals together totaled $18+. Ouch!

Always good food and friendly staff. If your lucky you even get to meet the owners. Both of which are amazing individuals. Pictured is the Mama’s special: meatballs, with potatoes, and pitas bread. For dessert highly recommend their baklava. Seeting upstairs gives a nice view of the market.

The lamb gyro was tasty but could have used more sauce plus a little pricey. The Greek salad was extremely disappointingit was quite small for a large, head lettuce one slice of tomato cut into quarters, 2 olives, feta cheese and the worst dressing ever. Will not go there again.

In my opinion i feel john and his family are the originator of the gyro. Ive been knowing them since i was a kid. Ive seen the love and passion they have for food. And out of all the gyros ive eaten over the yrs non of them compare to one thats made from them. So glad i got to visit. Brought back so many memories.❤❤

A husband-wife duo serves up a pretty good Greek menu that made me curious for more. I had the spanokopita, which was generously portioned with a flavorful filling. I would have liked the phyllo crisped a little more. Friendly lunch time service.
