I got the lamb gyro combo to go. The packaging was really nice and nothing got shuffled around during transit. The food was ok for the price but what really irked me was that they solicited a tip via touch screen before service was even provided which is never appropriate.

We strolled in here expecting some pretty simple Greek fair, but ended up pleasantly surprised at the choices, and especially the combinations of flavors we were able to choose from. I ended up with a platter and my wife had a rice bowl and the food was so incredibly filling while also being lighter and healthy feeling, not greasy. The portion sizes were perfect and the quality of the food was excellent. This is definitely going to become a regular place for us now.

I was really expecting “just ok” Greek food, but I was pleasantly surprised. This food was delicious. Their new rice bowl was able to be customized just as I liked it, and the chicken portion was just right. We got a side of the meatballs and they were very flavorful. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his platter. Everything was hot (the meatballs had to cool before we could touch them), freshly made, and nicely presented. The young lady who took our order also brought the food to our table and checked on us. She went out of her way to demonstrate the portion sizes and explain the menu options we weren’t familiar with.

We just got back from Greece and had souvlaki cravings. This scratched the itch for sure. Pita was soft and pliable, tzatziki was fresh, meat was succulent and flavorful. It’s nice to find a place that doesn’t have the frozen gyro meat cone. Will definitely be back!

My second visit, and I will be back. My gyro special of the week, a fish gyro, was very good. My wife Greek salad was OK at the best. It lacked the items that make a good Greek salad, olives, feta cheese, and onions. They had them, but it was skimpy at best. My 1/2 Greek salad had twice as much of those items versus her regular size. But, it won’t stop us from going back.

I’ve all but given up on Greek and Greek adjacent food in the greater Dayton area, but I’m very happily surprised to say that Greek Street serves what I would say was the most dang delicious gyro I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat.

Best gyros my partner and I’ve ever had! He got the lamb and it was AMAZING! I got the chicken and was equally impressed, especially with the quality of the veggies and protein in both! The tomatoes were RED, not pink! You can tell the protein was cooked thoughtfully and with love! And side note to my fellow foodies, a small menu is the best menu

Stunningly good Greek food is *finally* available in Dayton. The gyros are god tier – you can get them classic style or Greek Street style, which is like a killer fusion gyro. I got the pork belly Greek street style and I’m pretty sure I heard angels singing as I inhaled it.
