I was excited to try this place based on the reviews but they don’t seem to be an accurate representation of the food. The fries and spinach pies were old, stale, and flavorless, the salad was mostly lettuce, the lamb/beef gyro was flavorful but too salty and dry. I thought the owner’s wife was very nice but that was the only upside of the meal.

I love this place! I had takeout from here a couple of times and it never failed me! I recommend this place if your looking for authentic greek food. The service was amazing!!! The women on the phone was the sweetest person i’ve ever talked too! I will definitely come back here more often!

So I ordered through Uber eats just now. Ordered fries, gyro and Greek salad. The Greek salad had more onions then anything else. Lettuce tasted like rubbing alcohol, indicating it was bad lettuce. Barely any feta cheese on it, Greek dressing not provided. It was red wine vinegar and oil. Literally the ingredients weren’t fresh at all, one grape leaf and one peppercini. I threw the salad out. Will never order from here again. I even called the place to let them know and they didn’t do anything about it to be the hero, like hey I’ll refund you the money if you don’t want a replacement of your order.

Just finished eating a wonderful meal from Greek tastes at Rocky point. So happy to have found a new spot to enjoy. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Make sure to add some lemon potatoes to your order as they are out of this world. Yum!!

We have been going to the same Greek restaurant for over 15 years, which is far from our home in Ridge. Little did we know, that our new favorite authentic Greek restaurant, Greek Tastes, is right around the corner from us in Rocky Point. From the moment my wife, Anastasia and I walked in, we were greeted by all of their staff. As we listened to the sound of Greek music, we were given a explanation of their menu and specials. Our food was prepared quickly and was fairly priced. When we arrived home, we were were impressed with the quality of all of the dishes that we ordered. Their portions were a great size and everything was very fresh, from the contents of the salad to my gyro and my wife’s falafel rice bowl. We were blown away by the amazingly seasoned grilled chicken and rice. After a great meal, we got to enjoy their wonderful rice pudding. Thank you Greek Tastes, we are so happy that we found your restaurant. We will be back very soon!
