I happened to find this place walking down the road to find lunch. I saw a line up of people waiting patiently to grab lunch. That generally is an indication of good food. I wasn’t wrong… I ordered fish Tacos and I should say it was the best I’ve had in a while… I did wait a bit to get my food. There is a line up so get there early if you want in and out fast.

Habanero is a hidden place for tacos and cemitas (Puebla style torta/sandwich). Cemistas are Tasty saddly not real to Puebla flavor but avocado makes the tirck. Tacos are really good However a bit expensive for what you get (small tortilla). Jamica fresh water is the best in the fast food market 😉 . I liked the touch of having Spanish music.

One of my favorite lunch spots. The salad is fantastic, and I love that they mix it up for you. Ask them to add some chipotle sauce AND the avocado dressing for a little kick — so good.

Tortillas were cold. Fried fish pieces were cold. There was barely a squirt of sauce. So tacos had very little flavor. Assembly lines do move faster. Yet, not necessarily better. I work nearby and buy lunch everyday. And pass this place by lots. Because it’s inconsistent. If the little things were done right most of the time. I would come more often.

Quaint and tasty burrito joint on the corner of the main building. You will not be able to enter 2 N Riverside Plaza from this place normally, but do try their food on the way there. Make sure to add the free chihuahua cheese and tortilla strips, they are a great addition to the meal.

I scarfed that burrito down so fast. They are quick friendly and the food is delicious!! Although I believe when people are in line they should take precedence since we are in the store. Maybe create a secondary station for those that order ahead. Just a suggestion. Love this place and will be back!! Thank you so much!!!

A short walk from the Loop just on the other side of the river, Habanero is a great lunch spot to grab authentic and delicious tacos. I recommend the fish and chicken.

Don’t do it. I seen the good reviews thought it’d be nice to try. My tacos tasted like Chinese food smh

Fast food without the “fast food” experience. Pick a salad, tacos, cemitas, caldos or a bowl. Then add a protein like chicken, steak, barbacoa, fish, or veggies. Then add toppings. Place is always packed for weekday lunch, but service is really quick so the wait isn’t that bad.
