Great family style diner with a farmhouse vibe. Food is greasy and delicious, perfect diner taste and good prices. Staff is nice, but service was slow on a Friday morning at 9am. There are a few outdoor picnic benches for a quieter meal and conversation.

We tried going here the other day for breakfast because it came highly recommended, and the food looked awesome in the photos! We couldn’t stay, though. There was an insane number of bees flying around inside, and some landed on the table a few times. It was like there was a nest in the building. There were so many of them. Maybe we’ll try again in the winter.

If you’re looking for something very down to earth and simple, this restaurant is for you. The food is what you’d find in mom’s kitchen and the atmosphere is very similar. I didn’t have any complaints on my biscuits and gravy, but my dad did say the spinach pie was smothered in a but too much butter.

Went here for lunch with my mom and it was great. I love supporting smaller restaurants and this one deserves soooo much love. We were treated with kindness by all servers and our food/drinks came out very fast. It was AMAZING too. Best BLT i have ever had.

Not 100% of what I got I told them I was in a rush and asked what the quickest meal would be. I got a some type of chicken that they start making at 1am. It comes with fresh mozzarella and potato’s. Best meal I have had in a long time. I’m in sales so I eat out frequently, but the food was amazing and I didn’t wait longer than 5 minutes if that. Highly recommend.

The food was very good. I had a pork tenderloin sandwich, while my wife had a fish sandwich. The servers were pleasant and helpful, though service was a bit slow. BUT – the sandwiches priced at $8.00 on the menu ended up costing us $13.00 each. When I asked the server about this, she said that the owner hadn’t updated the menu prices. She noted that there is a sign on the door stating that prices have increased because of inflation. However, the actual price of the food isn’t shown anywhere and is a mystery until you get the bill. Underhanded, as I told the server. I won’t be back until this is fixed.

The older gentleman in this kitchen is wonderful. Puts out specials and properly cooked cuisine every time I have been here.

Deceptive pricing. Hella’s is a longstanding local place with good food. However, they have recently started a practice of adding an “inflation surcharge” per person of $2, plus increased prices, none of which is disclosed on the menu or told to you before you get your bill. When we asked the staff about the additional charges we were told there was a sign on the front door. But when we checked the sign it only said that there was a price increase because of inflation. It did not say that the price increase wasn’t reflected on the menu, nor did it mention the $2 per person surcharge. All in all, our $8 sandwiches cost us $13 each! Clearly these extra charges should have been disclosed before we ordered.

First time eating here. It was great. I couldn’t believe the size of the portion. If I hadn’t been traveling that morning, I would have asked for a To Go box. Personnel were fabulous.

A true and genuine American breakfast dining (restaurant). This one harks way, way back to when the staff greets you by your name, knows your order and is genuinely happy to serve you. Food??? LOVE the food, eggs, bacon, potatoes (oh my oh my). Now even though I am MOSTLY a breakfast guy their GYROS are top notch for sure. They have daily specials and never fail to surprise with something very delicious
