Ate at Hiro Sushi for the first time for a birthday party. It was fabulous. Small intimate restaurant. Sushi was fresh and amazing. Personnel were very attentive and friendly. All six of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and entire experience.

Good selection of vegan sushi rolls, we regularly get takeout from Hiro, but decided to dine in for lunch. Lunch combos are reasonably priced especially when compared to grocery store sushi. Lunch combos come with the standard salad and Miso soup. Not impressed with the soup and salad. The ginger dressing was mayonnaise based so not vegan, not a fan of this creamy ginger dressing compared to regular ginger dressing. The Miso soup was overly salty. Can’t go wrong with any of the vegan rolls, our favorites include: sweet potato, futon maki, kampyo, oshinko, and vegetable roll. The sashimi lunch combo was good as well. Fish on the Nigri was sliced a little too thin, but fair considering the price $.

Excellent service! I’ve never had a bad piece of sushi from Hiro Sushi. For the price I paid ($24 including tax) it was phenomenal, and fresh. The service was great too, even the fish were friendly. If you’re looking for somewhere mellow to have a meal I highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice looking place. Didn’t dine in, ordered pick up. Food was ok. For the price I was expecting much better. Also, the cashier lies about the number of scallops that would come with the dish. Very bad service. Sushi King food is better and cheaper.

Always on point! Great rolls and decent prices. This place has been here for years and seems to have a loyal customer base in the Midlothian area. The staff is pleasant and efficient. My favorite go-to sushi joint in the neighborhood. Never disappointed.

4 hand roll only comes with 1 chopsticks. And the hand roll is so tiny, some is 8 pieces roll or 10 pieces roll only get the same size of hand roll. I think not worth!

Fresh sushi with reasonable price. Ordered 2 special rolls, 1 regular roll, a deluxe sashimi (18 pieces), and a noodle soup. Totally $80. The. Sushi are all similar flavored, but fresh. Sashimi has salmon, tuna, yellowtail, white tuna, sea bass, and one more that I forgot. Most of them taste good and fresh. The only complain is the noodle soup base is not very flavorful and too salty. Overall will be back for sushi/sashimi again.
