Went in and ordered terrible lunch and vegetable delight. They gave me 5 Teriyaki sticks and vegetable delight. I paid $23.00. I was on a hurry but when I got home and realized what they had done I called them and they pretended that had not just been in there. The they told me that there was another Chinese restaurant with the same name on Jahnke road. I will never go that restaurant again and will encourage everybody I know to stay away from there. The are not honest people.

Last weekend was real hungry and didn’t know what I wanted so I said wings and fried rice it is. Didn’t want to drive to my usual spot red house. Tried ho wah and the wings were great and hot, the rice was real good. I asked for extra onion and theu didn’t skimp.

Best Chinese take out in the Forest Hill area. They are classic, quick, and efficient and offer a large menu. Delivery is quick even on weekends and holidays and food is always piping hot and delicious.

I have been going to Ho Wah for many years. The last time I went there and got Triple Delight it didn’t have much sauce in it. I gave it another try today and it tasted horrible. The Shrimp was hard as a rock and what ever spices they added were terrible. I threw it in the garbage disposal all but the rice.

I’ve been going there for over 8 years now and I’ve yet to change my mind about them being the best Chinese American restaurant. If you’re looking for 5 star, you won’t find it there but compared to the rest of the typical Chinese American restaurants, they stand to be the best. You don’t have to add soy sauce to your food to make it taste better. You simply eat and enjoy. I gave it 4 because there’s always room for improvement. The cleanliness needs a little work.

Called the restaurant for delivery, it took almost 2 hours to arrive and the food wasn’t great. Only chose this restaurant because they seemed to have their own delivery drivers and didn’t want to order through 3rd party delivery companies like all the other restaurants nearby rely on.

Never had a problem with my food or order. We’ve been eating here since 2011. My only complaint is food here is nothing like Chinese food up north. No chicken fingers, (think sweet and sour chicken, only big long pieces as an appittizer) and combination plates only include one meat not two like back home. One of only three places we like.
