I ordered the 2 for $5.50, a Monterey Jack Cheese stick and the Original, the Funnel Cake Sticks (that’s the rasberry sauce I hot on them on the container), and fries. Everything but the cheese stick was fine, though my husband was disappointed with the Original (cold in the center). The cheese stick had raw batter inside still, from too much batter because the outside was lovely brown and crispy. The cheese was even melted. There is training going on there, so just request that the more seasoned workers cook your food. I know the new people are learning, but I’m telling you!

The hiring manager sure picked some winners. I understand with covid and the employment pool though. Burnt corn dog, lazy employees, very rude they didn’t say anything just the total. I’ve been coming here for nearly 10 years and never throughout that time have I seen lazy employees. This is the first time.

I didn’t bring cash, so I was about to use Samsung pay, fortunately I asked, because the fellow said that this location updated their hardware or software or something and now Samsung pay doesn’t work.

I realize mostly teenagers work here, but it would be a good idea to teach some basic customer service skills. I showed up at 6:40 (website says you close at 7) I was immediately told “we’re closed!” When I asked why the website says you close at 7? “Does it look like I control the website? I gotta be out of here by 7”

The new owner here is so awful, we’ve been visiting this location since forever. But me and my family won’t be visiting this location anymore. The new owner makes bogus new rules because she is lazy and unethical and is poor in training her new workers. A lady with 3 very young kids behind us in line aksed for a water cup with her food, in the SCORCHING heat weather like 108 degrees outside. She was responded with a sassy eye roll and you need to pay $3. Dollars if you want it. I think the owner really needs to review law in par with owning a food and restaurant service. The lady with the kids was having a bad day I guess as her stroller also fell over, (NOT THAT ANYONE AROUND HER STOPPED TO HELP), seriously Clovis people??? my mom was the only one that helped her, and when she sat down to eat and breastfeed her baby (she was covered btw), the workers at hotdog decided they should call security since in there eyes a woman’s stroller falling over by accident clearly means she must be abusive right??? WTH, seriously. The kids who work there call security for the smallest and dumbest reasons, one gal called security one time because an introverted looking dude would come buy food and sit where the tables are and eat his food and play his portable game console. Shame on the people who work here, there are a few sweet ones but they probably won’t last long under the new owner, good for them too, I hope they find better jobs. To the kids working here… Do your job instead of judging your customers based on there appearance. You work at a freaking hotdog joint, no one is gonna come dressed up to see you in a tux and ball gown. They come for food, they pay you, you make it, they take it, they eat it and if your decent enough in behavior they might leave u a tip. Your job isn’t to call security everytime you see someone or something you don’t approve of. Nuts at this location. I would skip it if I were you >.> But to each his own, no one orders shananigans with there food.
