It is quiet and personable inside. I always came here when I was pregnant and craving Indian food. Its just as great not pregnant! Food wasn’t too oily and the spice was just right. The garlic Naan is perfect! Mango Lassi was a good pairing with the chicken vindaloo and samosas.

My mom and I came to enjoy the lunch buffet originally, but we were informed that the buffet is no longer available due to Covid. Understandable. However, the outside of the restaurant still reflects that there is a lunch buffet so that was a little frustrating to begin with. Then we ordered an appetizer, it was so delicious, no disappointments there. Then we order our main meal and the presentation was severely underwhelming. I ordered the tandoori shrimp and was super excited as this was my first time trying Indian food. My meal was 16.99. I was presented with 6 dried out shrimp and barely a cup of white rice. So this was an extremely disappointing visit. I can get 3 pounds of shrimp from Sam’s club for about $18, so the pricing compared to the quality/quantity of the meal needs to reevaluated.

This used to be a good restaurant with a very great tasting food. They used to have a lunch buffet. Not anymore. Unfortunately the original owner sold it to this new owner. The prices are too high, the food doesn’t taste the same anymore. The food tastes not good at all. Don’t even get me started about the portions, very small portions and the charging prices are too high. What?! We went there one time during lunch thinking of the good ole times. However, unfortunately we were told they don’t have a lunch buffet anymore. The owner was unhappy about how it costs him to operate the store. Once they brought the food, it didn’t taste good and very small portions. Ugh. Never going there again.

Wow wow wow! My friends and I were on the hunt to try Indian food for the first time and this place came highly recommended. We didn’t know anything, but the man that works there was so kind and took the time to give us recs and even joked with us making it all feel more comfortable. The food was delicious! The portions were similar to Chinese takeout (hefty!), but this place don’t leave me feeling grossly full. I was satisfied, and now I have a new favorite place to eat!

I ordered roughly $20 worth of food and was left hungry afterwards. The butter chicken skimped out on the protein as it was mainly the sauce. The dal soup had good texture with all the ingredients, but the flavor profile only tasted like salt. The best part of the meal was the naan. The cashier tried to be friendly but his remarks could be interpreted as rude.

Owner is quirky but super funny, my 3 year old has never been so entertained and comfortable with a restaurant staff. I can see how others may misinterpret his frankness, but my family only felt positive intentions. It was a slower time of day, and he went above and beyond to make sure my child was eating and comfortable.

The food is solidly okay, but I had maybe the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with a restaurant. We ordered delivery and got someone else’s food. When we called the restaurant to rectify this, they told us to *bring the incorrect food back,* which feels wildly inappropriate. Not only should it not have been our responsibility since we ordered delivery, we literally were unable to drive to the restaurant even if we could. We tried contacting Door Dash but they couldn’t provide a refund because they didn’t have payment details. India’s House has straight up ignored any communication to try to get a refund, so guess I’m not ordering from here anymore.

The cashier/owner berated me in front of his staff and customers for not paying for my Mother’s meal on Mother’s day. This was astounding to me – I’ve never had such an experience let alone at INDIA’S HOUSE! The quality service from pre-pandemic is completely gone. The prices are permanently dinner prices now (which I was willing to pay to support my favorite restaurant). I will miss it, but I won’t spend another dollar at a place where they feel its okay to shame customers over things entirely not their business.
