The food was absolutely delicious!! Veggie patty was super flaky and flavorful. The jerk chicken had just the right amount of spice… The plantains were nice and ripe! Everyone enjoyed their orders…. Curry Chicken and Stew Chicken… I ordered a curry chicken roti to go and it was absolutely delicious!!

So I explained my concerns, which are listed below, (they previously received 3 stars) tonight in giving 5 stars because the food is flavorful as always, but I received the meat and a hefty portion, at that. Thank you for making us happy customers again.

I’ve been on a hunt for authentic Jamaican food this wasn’t it. I ordered jerk chicken and got baked chicken with a sweet sauce. The need patty was not hot as well. It was hot in there, fair service, just not good food. I ended up trashing the entire plate.

Don’t waste time visit this place. Food is mediocre at best! They charge $20 for a small spoon of akee that barley had salt fish or any damn flavor, 4 of the smallest dumplings I’ve ever seen with a scoop of greens with no salt fish. Yall dead wrong.

Food was okay, but chicken was dry and jerk sauce not good. The cabbage and rice were bland and sweet potatoes needed more flavor. Plantain was perfectly cooked. Workers were pleasant, especially the cashier.

Good food, inexpensive pricing, the service is a little a slow. I think this is because some items are cooked to order. The food has always been hot. The elderly lady working the register is always polite & friendly & great at making menu suggestions. They’ve always been busy when I’ve visited.

Well… First time here and ordered the brown stew… I tasted more like plain baked chicken that the just put sauce on top. Underneath the skin it was bland and there was no hint of any spice or flavor other than sugar (which still was just on the skin) The plantain had to have been sitting under a lamp most the they day because it was like cardboard… the carrot n ginger juice was good, and the rice itself the most flavorful part of the dish … oh the cabbage tasted like just boiled water no salt or nun

First and only time giving this restaurant a try. Presentation was great but the food was VERY BLAND tasting unfortunately Nothing had flavor!!! Cabbage (NO FLAVOR) Rice (NO FLAVOR) Gravy( NO FLAVOR) and the most disappointing of them all Jerk Chicken (It had the appropriate spice but NO FLAVOR) I’m sorry but it’s the truth.
