I just indulged in a delightful lunch at the Jazz Café, a nostalgic visit to my childhood neighborhood that felt like stepping into Little Italy. The azure sky served as a backdrop to the white-washed buildings, perfectly mirroring the ambiance of the place. The Jazz Café not only serves delectable food but also emanates a profound sense of legacy and camaraderie that makes every bite more meaningful. For those seeking a distinctive rendezvous spot, look no further than this gem located across from the antique mall on Montgomery. Whether it’s a cozy coffee catch-up or a sweet dessert date, the Jazz Café offers an unmatched experience.

Good food, good atmosphere, great people and music?! Absolutely recommend! Feel like you are dining in another country being welcomed in to their home. It’s relaxed and comfortable all while serving good food and an amazing coffee. Definitely a must try and become a regular.

I may be biased seeing as how the owner is my uncle, but he really does try to make the experience authentic for everyone. He has plenty of great stories to tell, is an excellent chef, and a talented musician. I definitely recommend if you’d like a fairly chilled atmosphere!!

The atmosphere is incredible! Live jazz music brings the place to life. You must get the baclava with a cup of coffee!

I was recommended here and tried it for the first time. I was kinda grossed out by the condition everything was in. One of the tables was covered in dog hair, that ran freely around the place. It made me nervous about the kitchen conditions. The cook(?), talked horribly to the employee who was trying their best. I felt really bad for them. Despite my worries, I decided to try one of the burgers out. The taste and quality wasn’t bad at all. But it left me fighting for my life in the bathroom.

Last time we were there, we watched for an hour and a half while the owner served many people that came in after us, and spent time talking with patrons at their tables in the middle of busy lunch hour while no one prepared food. I love the food, and even the atmosphere, but we did not deserve that. Finally gave up and walked out. Never been back.

The last time I was here was in 1996. I went back to try it out today and it wasn’t as good as I remembered. Also make sure to bring cash, they dont take card. First they need to deep clean thr place, second please don’t let your dog in the kitchen, it’s never a good look to swear at your staff, especially when you are understaffed. Food is good as usual, some improvements since the last time I was in. Also to the owners. You should use square so you can accept card payments, add a couple of dollars to each menu item then just swipe/tap with a square reader. They only take 3% of a sale and will allow you to accept more forms of payment

Was just passing through Fort Worth, and stopped in on a whim. Probably one of my top experiences at a restaurant. The Owner/chef came to my table when I sat down, recommended the gyro, and explained where he gets the meat and how it’s prepared. The place had an old school charm that you can’t get everywhere you go. A nice family owned business I am happy to support. I’d give it more stars if that was an option.
