Recently visited this place. The concept and menu were very intriguing and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing. Great flavors. Comfort food. We had the challah bread and lamb hummus for appetizers. Spreads were great and the hummus was very flavorful. We had the whole fried black bass which was a big fish and delicious. We also ordered the zatar beef tenderloin which was perfectly cooked to medium rare. I ordered the Song of the Sea cocktail (pineapple infused mezcal) which was refreshing and a beautiful purple color. The dessert was a grilled nectarine with lavender yogurt and mint. Everyone was so good. Definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend anyone give JewFro a try! I had the best hummus I’ve ever tasted here and the fish was fantastic! The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I did not enjoy the dessert (spiced chocolate cake). However, everything else was delicious and I can’t wait to come back to try something new!

Loved JewFro. The liver and onions are bomb af, definitely our favorite item we got. My fiance got the gnocchi, and it was fantastic as well. The Chermoula for the Challah Bread was very good, I wanted a bottle of it for myself at home.

This was a decent experience. I am originally from west Africa, so I was looking forward to some African flavours and spices mixed in Jewish cuisine which I found underwhelming. The food itself was good, and the staff was very pleasant. I found the atmosphere a little disappointing. It felt a bit like someone put dining chairs in the middle of a sandwich shop( dirty dishes and trays in the sink facing dining customers). It didn’t match what one would expect from the price tags.

VERY flavorful and VERY fun, but quite pricey and I was not very impressed with the main entree options (though I wanted to try like half of the appetizers on the menu!!) I think I need to head back during lunch or breakfast for the cheaper entree options!

Disappointed in my self that it took so long to eat here. Food was incredible and cocktails were on point. Server Paul was friendly snd knowledgeable. There were 3 of us and we go the Pumpkin Pierogis, Smorgasbord, and a side of the Jollof couscous. Was enough food for 3, but we could probably have gotten another appetizer and not let anything go to waste.

What a phenomenal, memorable experience! Ari and Anna made our entire group of 6 feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. We had a reservation for 7 pm and were happy to head straight to our seats when we arrived. Ari, one of the owners, was so hospitable and thoughtful as our group was celebrating my husband and my wedding anniversary! He even allowed us to try to new small dish they are working on! Anna did a wonderful job of keeping our drinks filled and spacing out our appetizers and main entrees. I loved the knowledge both Ari and Anna shared with us about the culture and inspiration behind the dishes! The space is quaint and cozy, the food was impeccable, and it was the best service we’ve had in a very long time! Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal and drink at JewFro!
