Nice locally owned place! Good food, environment, and location. Cooked home style with good ingredients- not overly salty or greasy like many lab formulated chain restaurants nowadays! I had a breakfast burrito and biscuits and gravy. The salsa was spicy and flavorful and not just watered down tomato paste like ~90% of places! Hash browns were . Sausage was cooked and seasoned well. Good service and nice stop 🙂

Loved our waitress, the food was absolutely delicious, price point was a little on the higher end but you could tell the food was made with love so I’d gladly pay the extra fee bucks for a home cooked meal. Definitely a great experience

It’s a little “mom and pop” diner. Nothing fancy, but much better than expected. Simple menu, food was good, everyone in my family was happy with their dinner choice. Bathrooms were simple and dated, but clean and functional.

Good food and good service at a really good price. The kind of place where everyone knows each other’s names, the server and the tables all banter back and forth, and you’re welcome (even expected) to join the conversation over your coffee. I come through here once or twice a year, but this is the first time I’ve stopped here. It won’t be the last.

We arrived 20 minutes before close time, after traveling for 10 hours. We were welcomed in and served by a very nice, young waitress. The staff was nice, the burgers were a little overcooked, but they hit the spot! Kind of an out-of-the-way place but we will probably stop there again if we’re on that highway.

Service was fine and the food was hot. We loved the salad bar, but most things we ordered (steak, chicken fried steak, Salisbury steak, green beans) lacked over all seasoning and flavor. The pie was homemade and great, but was the only thing on the menu that wowed us.

JJ’s has quality food, well cooked, and very friendly service. They have a great steak special on Friday nights. Truck parking, too. Saturdays are Mexican food specials, like fajitas, tacos, and burritos.
