I love Kaitod so much and cannot recommend it enough! DELICIOUS food, beautiful atmosphere, affordable prices. Great owners who we definitely want to keep around in Laredo commerce. I went for the third time last week, but it was the first time I went to their brick and mortar. I had been twice to their truck when they first started, and I remember their wontons and mama pad being great! But there were a few other items that I didn’t think I would order again. Almost two years later I have finally tried kai tod again and they have really stepped up their game and created an elevated dining experience in downtown Laredo. Because it was my bday, they brought me a complimentary dragonfruit mojito, which is a brand new item, and it was the perfect drink for my perfect meal. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken, spicy. It had my nose running in the best way possible, so delicious! My friend ordered the mama pad lunch special, which was also perfect. If you haven’t visited this gem, please treat yourself!

I went yesterday, and I was disappointed with the service. The food is delicious as always, but the waiters kept rushing us to order. We kindly asked if we can order after the appetizer comes because I know the food doesn’t take long. After we ordered and received the food, the waiter kept coming every 10 min asking if he could take our plates. After the 3rd time I kindly told him we were still working on it. We weren’t even there the full hour. I was extremely disappointed being the service.

My new favorite brunch place. The first time we came here was to grab dinner during the opening, which disappointed us a little bit since it was too crowded, so the service was very slow, which we understood because the staff was pretty new. However we decided to give it a second chance as we’ve seen recently that they were offering brunch as well. The service definitely improved very much, the food was served fast and everything was extremely delicious. This time we got the Waffle and Thai Fried chicken with spicy syrup (they also have normal syrup, but the spicy one gives the dish a different twist), it was served with some fruit which made it very well balanced in terms of the flavor and texture. Also we got the Mama Pad, which is basically a ramen with vegetables and a sunny side up egg, the flavor was simply amazing. Since we wanted some fruit, we also ordered the Rainbow Fruit Parfaits, which is greek yogurt, with fruit and granola on top, it comes with honey to balance the acidity of the yogurt and fruit, this dish is served on a coconut plate which we loved very much. To drink, we got plain Green tea (which had a sutil tropical flavor) and a Latte coffee (which was a little sweet, probably due to the milk, but still enjoyed it). Additionally they offer bottomless Mimosas for $9 p/p but we skipped that, although it’s worth to mention in case someone is interested on it. They also have some vegetarian options which could be turned to vegan, just make sure to ask the waiter so they can adjust the ingredients for you. The presentation of every dish was outstanding. Service was way faster than last time, prices are accessible and portions are very decent. Surely coming back to try out more dishes.

What a heavenly place. I loved it. The food is authentic and service great. Flavors flow and mix so well. They have kimchi which I rate a good 10 plus.

Okay so I almost never eat alone because it makes me feel awkward. With that said, I’m here at Kaitod alone and I’m totally comfortable. The Jasmine drink is superb and the red curry dish is to die for. Totally recommend coming here, alone with your partner or friends. Great job!

Stopped here after a trip to Mexico, and I wanted something other than Mexican food. This place was exactly what I was looking for. Fresh plates and great portions, with a bright and lively atmosphere! I had the red curry and was thoroughly happy. Must be new because it only had a handful of reviews.
