This is the worst Asian meal I’ve ever eaten, beef teriyaki it’s sauce is like water and we are not given the chopsticks or forks that we should have, do we eat with our hands? We were visiting Chicago and were happy to find an Asian restaurant that was still open in the evening, but the meal we got was so disappointing, I can’t recommend it

Wowowow. The customer service here is top notch. Suffice it to say I had a really long day/week, and I was craving a salad so hard. I ordered a spicy Poké bowl through Grubhub, and I specified lettuce as my base from the list of options. I ordered a few more items to justify the cost of delivery (as I always do). When the delivery arrived (at least 20 minutes early, which was great considering how hungry I was; I think they have their own drivers even if it’s through another delivery service), I was really bummed to see there was no lettuce with the bowl and white rice had been used instead. I know this is not a big deal in the big picture sense, but like I said, it had been a really long week, and my body was craving the greens. So when the whole reason for the order was missing (and there were no special requests), I was really bummed. I called the restaurant directly instead of trying to complain through GrubHub. Luckily, they were still open. The woman who answered the phone gave my message to the manager who called me back moments later to apologize and remedy the situation. I explained I really only needed some lettuce, and they said someone would bring it to me with another delivery. A little while later, the driver returned with a bag, and I was shocked to find a whole new bowl with all of the toppings atop the lettuce. They went above and beyond, and ultimately over delivered. I will absolutely continue ordering from Kimberli Sushi & Thai.

Call for pick up told me 25 mins I went there after 30 minutes and I was waiting for the food for extra 15-20 minutes, Fried rice with shrimp was mashed so hard it was like a chewy cake of rice. Asked for som tum to be spicy and it was zero heat and so sweet it was sticky like a syrup. The place looked like a disaster zone in there.

Food wasn’t really good. I paid almost $100 and I got my food after 1.5 hour which should have been 25 minutes. I also found a piece of hair in my food and the staff wasn’t believing me. Staff was really rude and disrespectful. There is no place for you to dine in and there is literally no place for you to even stand because of all their furnitures blocking the entrance. Would totally NOT recommend to eat from here.

Ordered delivery from Kimberli for the first (and last) time today – 2 brown sugar bubble teas and a Triple Godzilla and Wisecracker roll. Delivery (by the restaurant) took almost 1 and a half hours, and the food suffered for it. Not only did one drink arrive with a quarter of the “tea” spilled out, but both disappointing bubble beverages were 80% ice, tasted exclusively of milk, and contained sad, hard little boba. The lychee jelly was the only part worth finishing. The Godzilla roll was delivered looking like a mess, and the taste didn’t make up for the lacking presentation – the rice in particular was not good. I had high hopes for my Wisecracker roll, but it had been sitting waiting to be delivered for so long that the tempura exterior was spongy and cold. Flavors were decent but overpowered by cream cheese, no nuance whatsoever.

Been ordering from here for last couple years and quality of food has steadily declined during that time. My recent order included ice cold egg rolls and poorly wrapped sushi which were not even the correct roll. Used to really enjoy this place, but there are much better options in the area.

Every time I order from here, there’s never any utensils (chopsticks, fork spoon etc) and half the time it’s poorly packed and usually missing part of the items. It’s a shame because food is pretty decent and it’s one of the few places open late.
