Kizuki Ramen’s philosophy is to serve the most traditional, authentic and delicious Japanese ramen that you can possibly have without actually flying to Japan.
Kizuki’s food is still prepared the same way as it is in Japan; utilizing an unique method of roasting bones before boiling. Similar to the French style of making consomme, they were the first in the Japanese ramen industry to employ this method. The result is a rich, flavorful broth that is fragrant, and full of depth. Devoted to replicating the incredible flavor of traditional Japanese ramen, if equal substitutes for ingredients are not found within the country, Kizuki Ramen imports the ingredients directly from Japan.
Hip venue serving Japanese noodle soups & small plates, plus whiskey, sake & beer amid artful decor. Based on 213 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.4 stars. Price $$

I chose this place for lunch due to its proximity to my friend’s house. I opted for the Garlic Tonkatsu Shoyu Ramen, which was enjoyable, although a tad saltier than I prefer. The service provided was exceptional.

The Ramen is the star of the show here, however them allowance for alterations based on dietary restrictions elevates them into modernity.

Ramen spot in Chicago for anime fans. Grab some noods and watch your favorite show. Food is alright, still not better than Goma Tei which imo is the best American version of true Japanese ramen. Still a good experience to try.

This was my first time going to a kizuki ramen and I loved it! I had gyoza and potato croquettes to start and they were delicious! My friend and I both got a different type of ramen and we both enjoyed it, all of the food we had was high quality. Our server Erin was really helpful with explaining menu items and helping us pick what we should order too! The place was very clean and open and looks so nice inside. I’ll be a repeat customer- Definitely recommend going here!!!

Great food and great highball cocktails! We’ve been here a few times and love the ramen and drinks. We also recommend grabbing gyoza as an appetizer before ramen. The pork is different from what I’m used to (chashu pork), but I like the way they grill the pork in their tonkotsu ramen. The broth was light and really delicious as well!

Awesome food, great location, and incredible service! I had the spicy ramen it was delicious. I was able to choose my level of spicy so I started with mild and it was a nice little kick not too spice. I appreciate that you can choose the spice level but definitely going all in with the spice next time. My dad got the Karaage salad, the chicken was crispy and that sesame sauce! My sister got the Shoyu ramen. Everything arrived at our table nice & hot. Ooh definitely try the drinks, the passion fruit green tea was my favorite so far.

Wonderful service. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Plus the food is yummy and came out quickly. My party sat outside on the patio which was definitely and added bonus. Will be coming back for sure. Hidden gem in the city!

Recently moved to the area from NYC (where we love to get ramen!) Great service here and great ramen. We shared one Hakata Tonkotsu ramen and one karaage don (fried chicken over salad and rice). Both were really great and we’ll definitely be back. They’re BYOB while they wait for the liquor license.

Nice interior. Poor service. I sat at my table for 20 minutes before anyone got me water and took my order. Ramen is just OK (felt like I was eating cheap instant noodles).
