I like the flavor! Given the separation from its counter part I would say at the moment the food is good! Things change after being open for a little while however. I got the curry goat and pepper steak, oh and also a beef and a chicken pattie. I was being greedy because I wanted to try out some of my favs. The seating I would say is non-existent at the moment. They have 3 tables. I would say for the moment it’s basically a carry out move and they do have the option for delivery! The line was a bit slow, for me ordering ahead I still had to wait as if I just ordered.

I was surprised when I called and placed an order for two large oxtail at 11:30 a.m. that they told me the food would be ready in 10 minutes. Apparently they cook in bulk for the day and they just fill the orders as they come in. This is a plus because most of the time when you order oxtail it takes forever. The oxtail were not season very well, or they had not had time to let the flavors sit in. The rice was okay and the cabbage was okay as well. I ordered a beef patty which was kind of old and dry. The cornbread was bomb. I did save some of my oxtail for later I added a little curry powder and the flavor was much better a few hours later. I think the seasoning had time to sit in. Also oxtail had lots of gristle and did not fall off the bone. I will try this place again and maybe not order within the first 30 minutes of them being open. Maybe the food will have absorbed more of the flavor.

Looked good but… Chicken was very dry hard and cold on the inside. The cabbage was warm and seasoned well. The rice was horrible! Half was hard & half was chewy like plastic. This was my 3rd time trying Kristines. 1st was oxtails that were all fat and 2nd was curry chicken which was cold as well and lacked flavor. The beef patties all either to hard… To hot… Or all gone. Never have I been able to get coco bread. The lemonade will send you into sugar shock!

Absolutely love Kristine’s, I appreciate the conversation held with owner regarding how she started her buisness and I never have a complaint when choosing Kristine’s for dinner. Food is always prepared with nothing but greatness!! Will come there often when I have Jamaican food for my tastebuds.

This food is delicious.and you can tell that’s its freshly made and not something waiting to be order.Ms.kristine herself gives good customer service and having a conversation with her is just absolutely funny.she has alot more space in this location then her previous place(we shall not say the name)and I cant wait to see her and her business grow overtime.i highly recommend that you give her food a try you will not be disappointed.

The food is usually ok..I stopped by today and ordered curry chicken l, beans and rice..Very disappointed it tasted like boiled spicy chicken..no flavor at all, the dry chicken had absolutely NO gravy. There was NO WAY i could eat this meal..

Too spicy to taste flavor, usually means food is old / not fresh leftovers.Rice & peas was bland Curry goat was ok, extra spicy & hard, fried dumpling was microwaved,no flavor tase like oats. Queen & Carenas Jamaican restaurants food quality is much better & friendly.
