Great food! The owner is the person who helped us out, and he is clearly dedicated to his food and to his customers. The place is small and unassuming, but the portions were generous and everyone was delicious. Everything was made in house and very authentic. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love the pastor tacos at La Pena and eat them at least twice a week! I have eaten tacos at several other restaurants/trucks/gas stations in the area and La Pena has the best meats by far. At La Pena I’m always greeted with a smile and “Hey! How are you! Nice to see you! Welcome!” I love the people just as much as the tacos.

Delicious Mexican food inside this unique looking building on Cypress St in Kennett Square. The food is authentic and the restaurant is family run/family owned. They offer take out and table service with their full menu. I had the special platter with steak. I was expecting chunks of steak but instead received a well seasoned thin cut of steak.
