Very nice Hispanic food for the money. Love their fish tacos lunch combos at a great price. Always fresh and delicious. Awesome small neighborhood atmosphere, almost feels like in Americas. Usually pretty busy but haven’t seen it full yet. Seems that liquor is served here as well. They have fridges with beer for sale as well as some unique collection liquor bottles. 5 stars!

Very good tacos. I love the Al Pastor marinated with pineapple. The chips and salsa are very good as well. Nice place to eat with lots of options. Lunch special with two tacos, rice and beans for $7.99 is awesome deal.

Man, gotta say, the street tacos at La Tejana are some of the best I’ve ever had! Unreal flavor and taste, the price is great, and they have a tremendous variety and selection of authentic meats to choose from for the tacos. Best “hole in the wall” Mexican joint I’ve found in all of the greater St Louis area. Not the greatest photos below, simply because I took them after hitting the first four tacos HARD AND FAST!

Honestly must’ve just been bad luck. For this many positive reviews it has to be better than the experience I had. The tortillas tasted stale, the meat in each taco was served cold and didn’t appear to have touched the grill (carnitas, asada, al pastor, and pork skin), and the margaritas tasted like flat ranch water with lime juice from a squeeze bottle. Maybe the worst margarita I’ve had. Wanted to like it based on the reviews, but so bad I don’t think I’d go back for free. At least it was cheap…

Wife and I went for taco Tuesday and decided to go with the lunch specials, 2 tacos with rice and beans. Including drink paid less than $20 and definitely got our money worth. I got a cow head and Al Pastor taco which were absolutely delicious. The cow head was very soft and the Al pastor was perfectly cooked. The corn tortillas tasted home made and everything was well seasoned with good portions. Will definitely be back to try more.

The best authentic Mexican food in STL. Drove 40 min to try this place, that was recommended in a social media post I saw. It was Worth the trip. The street tacos and quesadillas were the best I have ever tasted, FRESH and FLAVORFUL. The customer service is amazing and my decent sized order was done within 15 minutes. This place is a must GO if in the area. Wish I found this hidden gem sooner..

Love this place! It tastes pretty much like back home, Mexico City. If I close my eyes and bite my taco it feels like I’m at a Saturday tianguis having lunch with my family. I live far so I don’t come here enough, and when I’m in the area it’s because im working at another restaurant but these are some seriously awesome tacos. Pastor, barbacoa and suadero are my go tos. The rajas con crema are sooo good don’t miss them! They are only on the Spanish side of the menu, the English version has cheese dip instead for some reason. Salsas are excellent which can make or break a taco, and theirs are super tasty.
