This is one of my favorite places. I love the gyro and fries. I’ve eaten here at least 5 times since moving back to Temecula 2 months ago. The gyro meat is quality.

I’ve had Greek cuisine a couple times when I was younger but as of recently, I’ve been trying different options especially at this restaurant. The food here is fantastic in taste and in looks. Everything is fresh and hot and packed with a lot of cultural flavors. From the people I know if they ever have had Greek food, their go to safe choice would be some form of the gyro and even though the gyros here are great, there is so much more to try! I’ve ordered their gyros, plates, and dabbled in the different sides they offered that I’ve never tried, and I haven’t been let known. The lamb is delicious as well as their lamb skewers which would probably be one of my favorites and another thing I’ve never tried before were the feta fries. Their description include lemon sauce and I was skeptical but tasting those slices of potatoes and seasoning plus the feta cheese, it was quite delightful. Not only can you order the feta fries, but you can also add on any protein you desire. I also dabbled in their, “pastitsio,” which is described as their Greek lasagna, and I was pleasantly surprised as well. The baklava was a very good finish to any Greek meal. There are many more options I haven’t tried so I will be back for more! Be curious and try it!

Well, I’m starting this review with a celebratory meal from Ladera Greek Kitchen as I was in the mood for something Greek and I’m finally heading toward a closing date so I can move! Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised with this place as there were a few options, but this one felt like the right decision to make and I’m certainly glad that I did. Now to the breakdown of things:

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. The dining room is nice and clean and the menu is very fresh. They have a good selection of gluten free and being options as well. We ended up ordering the combo plate with 2 skewers and I was able to split split getting one lamb and 1 steak cut off steak kebab. I like the flavor of the rice pilaf it is on the wetter side. I ordered the side salad as well and and that was pretty standard the dressing was pretty good. My favorite part of the meal was actually the spicy feta sauce that comes with the meal. The lamb was very tender and the steak as well they were covered in a Olive oil emulsion with garlic which really made the meat moist. I wish they gave a little bit more pita as you only get 2 small slices. The wifey ordered the gyro sandwich, She said the lamb had great flavor and the tzatziki sauce was very good as well. We also ended up ordering a side of sponacopita which was a very flaky delicious cheesy spinachy morsel. The price of the 2 item combo was about $20 so definitely on the higher side but a good amount of food. We will definitely be back!

This is one of our favorite places for takeout. We usually order the gyro pita or pork sovlaki which is always fresh and delicious, however on a recent trip the pita was a little stale and hard to chew. Hopefully it was just a one-off event as we love this place.

Always something new that’s wrong. Inconsistent food. Forget things quite often as well. Have put up with it but now need to write this for any other vegan out there.

The restaurant was clean, neat and has dividers at the order/checkout counter. Not sure how long this restaurant has been here, but we loved our lamb skewers with rice, green salad and traditional tzatziki and pita slices. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the whole meal was just delicious. The picture says it all! We waited for about 10 minutes to get our food. This restaurant is definitely our new go to.

This is really good Greek food. Family owned, flavorful, hot, fresh, and SO yummy! We could eat here daily!! It’s so nice to see non-chain quality restaurants succeed in Temecula!

Finally the REAL Greek! This isn’t your average Mediterranean place. Eating here brought me straight back to Athens. George was incredibly kind as we connected over each having family back in Greece. I will definitely be coming back, and you all should go too! If you think you’ve had greek food, but never been to Greece, come here and be blown away.

Last week I had a good gyro sandwich at this attractive and clean restaurant. It wasn’t a great sandwich because the gyro meat was pretty mushy though also tasty. They didn’t griddle it for crispy edges. I think that’s important. Plus the Tzatziki sauce was overly salted. But as I say, it was a good sandwich and I’d have it again if I was in the area and hungry.
