I really like the owners’ responses to critiques here. Calm and constructive. Our experience was not bad but not great either. I do not recommend Enciladas Poblanas. The sauce was too sweet and chicken was too tough. Others got fajita quesadillas that looked better. The booth we sat at was very very uncomfortable. I saw a few others mention this as well. The cushioning is bad, but for me the seat was very low in reference to the table. I am 6ft tall and I felt uneasy eating. The table was above my chest when I sat down. Imagine that. I haven’t seen the roaches others mentioned in their reviews, but do believe that this restaurant feels older and dirtier inside. There aren’t many options for this type of food out here really. We will switch as soon as we find an alternative. Till then, all of the above negativities are worth sucking up to in order to get this type of Mexican food in this area.

We had a party of 4 arriving just after 8pm on Thursday night. This place was not busy, and they could seat us upon arrival. We opted for this place since nearby restaurants were slammed with customers waiting. Now we know why. Booth seats were very uncomfortable with no padding. We sank below the table, making it uncomfortable eating. It was very dark inside and had no atmosphere. Service was not great. The basket of chips was long gone with no refill of chips or drinks before the meal finally showed up. We all thought we were forgotten. Think the owner was our server. Obviously, he was busy with other things. Drinks continued to stay empty for long periods, and the chicken was tough. I had to go find someone to get our check. Visited the ladies 3 stall restroom before leaving. First stall door wouldn’t stay shut, second stall no TP. Soap dispenser was off the wall and sitting on top of the paper towel dispenser, which, of course was empty. First and last visit here for me.

We have frequently come to this restaurant over the past couple of years. We are less than pleased with the customer service. Yesterday, We called in a take out order. For one of the meals we specified no salad. For the second meal we asked for a plain steak burrito, no sauce or cheese. When we got home, the burritos had cheese and sauce. The meal that was to have salad, they attempted to remove the lettuce but left the sour cream.

We waited 20 minutes for water after he took our order and gave us chips. Another server brought us water after we asked him too. Our fajitas weren’t even hot and as soon as our server dropped them off he basically ran from the table, not checking on us or seeing if we needed anything the entire meal. Good location but unfortunately we won’t be back, no spice to the Mexican style food at all. Disappointed to have spent the money. 3 stars for the other server that was kind to us (a young and energetic man), wish he was our server.

We have dined there several times. The last 2 times we ate dinner there have been horrible! Last 3 visits we were seated and brought drinks, placed order, then when we finally received our food the waiter would never come back to our table. We ran out of drink and waited & waited. Nobody ever came back. So my husband actually went to find a waiter to get us a refill. Had to almost beg for a box & to get the check! When my husband returned and we put our leftovers in the box and started to get up a cockroach ran across the table!! I went and chased down our waiter (who never came back to our table) and I told him that they may want to spray because a cockroach just ran across our table. He walked towards me like he was going to walk over to our table, but NOPE!! He just walked away while the other wait staff just stood there and looked at me!! I didn’t say a word I just walked out. It was so infuriating! THEN on 2 separate dates (4/20 & 5/11), upon checking my bank account we found that both times the wait staff had changed the amount of the tip!! Charged us an ADDITIONAL $2.00 in April then an additional $1.00 in May. It’s not that much money, but to me that’s the same as stealing if you alter the amount on a check. I called and spoke to the manager the 1st time it happened. He said sometimes the wait staff may hit the incorrect key when entering tickets. Assured me it wouldn’t happen again. Then the 2nd time it happened I called and asked for the manager. The response was, “We don’t have time to talk to you right now, we are busy”!! So I just decided to leave an honest review.

Had a roach in my friends sweet tea. They said no manager was there. The older lady they sent to our table said what do you want. I’m not one to complain but her response was I’ll take 8 dollars off the bill. I didn’t want any money off I just wanted her to know she didn’t handle it well. She couldn’t have cared less

After a 35 minute wait the waiter who took my order asked me if I had ordered. I said yes you took it. He said no he didn’t and left. He came back 10 min later saying it would be there soon. 20 min later my order came so cold I could hold the “hot”fajita pan without a pot holder. I asked the same waiter to heat it up and he said if I didn’t like it I could go elsewhere. I then asked for the manager. One woman from a near table told him he was rude. He said he was the manager. I then asked a female waiter for a box to take the food home. Then I waited for my bill and finally chased down the woman and she said the guy was not the mgr and I asked for my bill from the guy and he just waved me out. I said are you sure and he said yes. Because I’m alone and eat by myself a lot I get treated poorly but never this bad.

The service was fine, but the food was less than . The chimichangas were dry, as well as the rice. We ordered the kids quesadilla and enchilada without sauce but our waiter apparently didn’t understand us saying no sauce. We were in a hurry so we didn’t ask them to fix our order.
