This place is absolutely amazing! I was born and raised straight from the heart of Puerto Rico and everytime I come to this place my heart gets a taste of nostalgia. One of the best Puertorican food places that I had outside the island. It reminds me of the legendary Guavate where people bbq pork in a traditional Puertorican way. We waited for over an hour in line, while at a Puerto Rican festival, and I have to say that I was disappointed by the food. The bowl was big but mostly filled with starches, the pork, which was supposed to be the best part of it, was rather dry and the flavor was just ok. It was not bad, it just wasn’t as great as expected.

Basically, I was on I-95 eating the ribs while driving home. I don’t know about you but there is a lot of love and detail that goes into lechón. Thank goodness there is someone who can do it for us. I can’t wait for them to get their own space.

I’m an avid foodie looking for ways to support our local business especially during Hispanic heritage month. I’ve been following this food establishment within the upcoming weeks right before their grand opening in Elkridge, MD. Therefore, last week, I decided to give this spot a try but initial attempt left me with nothing to try sadly. The line was extremely long!
