Great service! Lovely ambiance! Hazelnut Soufflé is fantastic. Lobster salad is wonderful.

Exquisite experience and wonderful choice for my birthday! Everything was done with incredible attention to detail. We enjoyed the four course meal option – recommend the scallop duo, lobster salad followed by short rib and the crème brûlée for dessert! Hubs had a special off-the-menu dessert AND chocolate soufflé that was magnifique!

Put environment and service aside, the taste of food itself is really not that outstanding. Well, of course it is good, but not what I expected for a fine dining restaurant like this. Especially the lamb main course—it is totally a disappointment.

There is a reason this place has been around for as long as it has. Food and service was 10s across the board, we felt like royalty the whole evening. One of the best French meals I’ve ever had and we are looking forward to coming back.

One of the best in Chicago. The asparagus and mushroom risotto is fabulous and smells like spring. The oxtail consomme is hearty and reminds one of Pho broth. Souffle is the best I have ever tasted. The inside has a foam like texture and was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back. Service was also flawless. The food was definitely worth the steep price tag.

Always an extreme pleasure to dine here. Maribeth, Roland, Nick, and the rest of the team are tops in their field, and great people to boot. We’ve been going here several times a year for nearly 10 years; as Denverites, it’s our reason to visit Chicago. Very Highly Recommended

What a charming place for a night out with your special someone or an anniversary. The food was exquisite and amazing in every way. From the moment we walked in, the woman in coat check was so sweet and inviting. They seated us on the second floor near the fire place and it was darling and so romantic. We had a fixed menu with many options. Started with Artichoke terrine, petite salade, hazelnut vinaigrette and Seared Hudson Valley, foie gras, baked apple, banana water and they were both perfect in taste and so delicious. To be honest, I didn’t think I’d enjoy the four gras but it was perfection. We also enjoyed the Mixed greens Belgian endive salad

This was the best meal I’ve ever eaten and I actually mean that. I couldn’t stop smiling because every course had a unique and wonderful combination of rich flavor. When you get there, Mary Beth takes your coat with a warm smile on her face. It’s a small and intimate restaurant with dim lighting and quiet conversation at every table. The staff was knowledgeable and professional, which was a neat part of the experience. My parents and I each ordered five courses.
