Small, but tasty sandwiches. Not burgers, although you can get a burger patty as a meat option. I tried that and the other options- weenie, ham, and shredded beef. The ham was my favorite of all the ones I tried. The bread is really the star. Light and at the same times dense like a English muffin. Chips and Mexican sodas also available.

Lonches El Popo is a local sandwich shop. But do not be confused by what you know as a sandwich like a sub. These specific type of sandwiches are a hybrid between a burger and a sandwich. In their menu only offer 4 different type of sandwiches shredded beef, cooked wiener dog, burger type and breaded steak. The sandwiches are served fresh and hot. Went to lonches el Popo because my grandparents love it. I ordered over 60 lonches and was given no serranos, missing bags of chips and there was barely any ternera in any of them. We ordered burgers with cheese and there was NO cheese on any of the burgers but they sure didn’t forget to charge me for anything. Horrible experience from someone living out of town.
