Not uppity or snobby place at all! It’s a small no frills place with a extremely friendly staff that goes out of the way to make you feel at home. It’s about THE FOOD , which is VERY good!I say stop by and grab a slice or a whole pie you won’t be disappointed!

A few of us were here from out of town. We wanted to experience an authentic deep dish, but got out of the convention late. Lonnie’s was the only place open. We showed up with barely enough time to cook a deep dish, but the guys working were kind enough to toss one in for us so that we could have the genuine Chicago deep dish experience. I can’t say if they’ve got the best pie in town, but I’m not sorry that theirs was the one I got to try while here.
