Nice spot for a quick lunch. The honey grilled pork bahn mi had tender meat and good flavor. The line was long during lunchtime but moved pretty fast.

My tofu Noodle Bowl was delicious. I would love to have places like this in my neighborhood.

This place is so legit. I got the ginger chicken pho, and the chicken is roasted, seasoned and flavorful- not those strips of boiled chicken like you find at other places. So delicious, one of the best pho I’ve ever had.

got the honey grilled pork banh mi for a weekday lunch — kind of mid but banh mis in the loop area are hard to come by so it still does hit if you happen to be craving a banh mi, as i often am. meat was pretty juicy but the overall flavors somehow didn’t meld perfectly together and the bread wasn’t as fresh/toasted as it could’ve been.

Definitely one of the more authentic places here in the loop for Vietnamese cuisine. Their portions are a little on the small side, but the cost makes up for it. I’d really love if they had another size option because I never felt full when I left.

Alright. I hate to he harsh, but this just ain’t it. The pho itself is devoid of any authentic veitnamese spice. Where’s the burnt onion? Where’s the clove? Star anise? Cinnamon? The broth just tastes like boiled cow bone. What is this? Pirate ship famine pho? That ain’t it. Moving on to the meat, it’s already cooked and served with lukewarm broth. WRONG! I get that this is a speedy take on pho, but pho is already speedy as hell to make. Just pour flavorful broth over thin raw meat to cook it a perfect medium. This spot ain’t doin’ that. Like I said, it’s an overcooked piece of beef inside some lukewarm broth. Now, onto the banh mi. COLESLAW AND VINEGAR IN A BANH MI?!?! I understand creative liberties, but that’s just some Americanized garbage. THAT AINT IT. If you’re a yuppie who don’t know better, then go ahead and eat your “fow” but don’t call this no “pho”. If you want soulless “fow” then eat your heart out kids. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. TLDR; Authenticity: none, soul: devoid, atmosphere: rushed yuppie nonsense. Sorry but once again, this ain’t it.

Tried the beef pho and sunny side beef banh mi. The beef pho was served in a plastic bowl. The soup broth was not as hot in temperature as pho is normally served. The broth was also under seasoned like it needed more bone simmering time. Since the sauteed beef was already overcooked, it cooked further in the broth, making it tough. The banh mi bread was under toasted so rather than being crunchy on the outside, it was soggy. The sunny side egg was a nice touch. For the price though, I was hoping for better food.

Good selection of foods and plenty of seating if you want to dine-in. You order at the counter and let them know what you want in your meal along the way.

Try the pork bahn mi! Good vietnamese food at a good price. Fresh and flavorful at a low cost, although portions are a bit small but expected.
