Thank you for great dinner and delicious wine for our group! Scallops for starter were the best!

This restaurant was highly recommended to us, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The chowder was lukewarm, but tasty. The paella was over cooked with rubbery scallops and the ravioli dish was cold. The Caesar salad and chocolate torte was good. I would not go back there again except for a salad and dessert. I heard there is a new owner and maybe they lost their chef. Or maybe it was the chef’s night off. Either way I would not recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed all aspects of our experience and we’d like to express what made it so great:

The Tuscan Scallops is amazing. The scallop itself is fresh, crispy outside and juicy inside. But the important part is the sauce. The sauce has layers of flavours. It begins with a bit salty taste from the bacon and sour (maybe from the lemon). Then follows the sweetness of the scallops and ends with some taste of butter. Very flavourful yet very balanced.

Food was pretty good, we had seafood Paella. I’ve had better in Key West for alot less money but it was good. The ceaser salad was very good.

An incredible culinary experience that should be a requirement when visiting Sitka. Although only open seasonally, this restaurant joins a long list of reasons why you should visit Sitka in the summer. The food is amazing, service is impeccable and ambiance is fantastic. Don’t forget to make a reservation! You won’t regret it.

I actually ate at their chowder cart location. Sandwich and the breads served with their chowder are very good. Chowder alone is a meal and well worth the visit

Lived up to all the hype. Small venue with incredibly well crafted food. Spanish themed. The paella was fantastic; only place I know of in Alaska that serves paella. A little tough to get in but worth it. The upstairs has a bar/tapas area that’s first come/first serve but doesn’t have the full menu.

I will return to this restaurant on my next visit to Sitka. I absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere, and my server named Shadeed was perfection to say the least. Everyone that visits Sitka should call for a reservation and dine here. I had Salmon Chowder and Salmon for dinner
