Ma Dukes is owned and run by chef Isaiah Seay, who founded the artisan pizza shop in honor of his mother and father. After years as a chef and restaurant consultant, Seay reached true success with his high-end catering business, L.A. Roots Catering, which was founded five years ago. The explosive growth has allowed him to expand his reach to other concepts, leading us to Ma Duke’s.

Fantastic small joint with non-traditional pizza, pasta and salads. We tried three different pizzas and all were fantastic. Our kids even commented how good it was. Definitely worth the stop if you’re a local or are in the area along the 101. The only downside is there isn’t much seating so better to plan on picking it up for home or to take to a local park etc.

MY NEW FAVORITE PIZZA!!!! We got 4 different pizzas for my birthday – ALL fantastic! I think mine was the best, though. Gluten free crust that was tasty and great mouth feel! Having it ‘MaDuke Style’ made it an absolute home run. This will be our new go-to place for pizza. THANK YOU!!!

This place is a hidden gem, easy to miss driving by. Amazing pizza. Fresh made to order with whatever toppings you want, but not the the conventional toppings. I got a pizza with pulled pork, 10/10 small pizza shop.

Wise Girl Pizza, Midnight pizza, forager pizza, chubby vegan pizza, capresi does it (spelling?) pasta with added chicken and one other one … essentially everything I’ve tried I loved. It’s hard to try new things because you crave all the stuff you’ve tried. I’ve even had the dessert beignets… can’t recommend enough
