The food was just okay. Food was pricey for what you get. We ordered guacamole, queso with chorizo, pupusas (pork and cheese), chicken quesadilla, and beef, pork, and chorizo tacos just to try a bit of everything but it was all pretty bland. I don’t think we’ll be back.

I loved the atmosphere, small and quaint. Patrons seemed to love this place. I had tacos meal which came with rice and beans . The rice was some of the best I’ve ever had. The tacos (I had steak, carnitas, and chicken. I feel the beef was good, but all others were bland. So I have a big issue with this place. Each taco comes with one small sliced radish so I asked for some more radishes. The bartender asked “how many do you want?” I felt it was an awkward question, but answered “4”. I saw him to over to the tablet/register and ring something up. Another gentleman laughed and made eye contact with me. The bartender brought out six. So I I received my bill I noticed I was charged $1 for the radishes. I definitely felt nickel and dimed.

I asked a native friend to the area “where can I get the best pupusas in town?” He gave me this location and I was concerned with the name. I gave it a shot and was absolutely blown away. Leave your hesitations at the door, this place was phenomenal!!

We came here multiple times during COVID to get food and it was phenomenal. We stopped coming because they had such a limited menu. We decided to order some food here recently and it was just awful. The queso tasted like that gross yellow cheese you get at baseball games with nachos. My food didn’t taste fresh and was over cooked. The only save was the Tres Leches which was delicious. My partner enjoyed his food, however, and my daughter liked her tacos. We will order again; hopefully this was just one bad experience. (Will update.)

I must be honest, I was so hungry that I forgot to take pics of the most delicious shrimp tacos I have had in years. But take my word for it, the plate was a beautiful display of perfectly cooked shrimp, guacamole, sour cream, Pico, rice, beans, and that ever-so-slightly spicy green sauce we all know and love. It was a wonderful lunch, made even better by the attentive and courteous staff. Truly, if you find yourself in Dale City, Virginia, then you must make a stop at Margaritas Grill. You will love the cozy lighting, appropriate decorations, and the optional outdoor seating. Although, the rest of the plaza could use a bit of a face-lift, but I digress. I would love to come back in the future to try some of the Salvadoran side of the menu, but if you get there before I do, please let me know how good it is. That’s all from me for today. Tex mex and Salvadoran food. I have loved everything I’ve tried here.The shrimp ceviche is my favorite! Outdoor seating available. Good food and good service. Definitely recommend!

We went yesterday at 9:58pm after looking and going to many places and having those said places being rude to us. As soon as we went in the atmosphere was impeccable the staff was so nice even though they closed in an hour or two we never felt rushed at all the menu was online and there website was clean and straight to the point I got the carne asda that came with rice beans and a salad the meat was cooked to perfection and the rice and beans were so good just thinking about them is making my mouth water the waiter was super nice as well and the tortillas were to die for!
