Great pizza for a birthday dinner! Got a Combo, Pepperoni, and a deep pepperoni . Back in the day the pizzas were loaded with pepperoni and you could grab a bread stick from the counter while you waited. Maybe we just got unlucky, but I would love to see those two things next time?:)

I grew up with Mary’s pizza, and my theory is that the pizza you grew up with will always be “the best” pizza. Whenever I visit Sonoma county I always come back for some pie and a couple of hot dogs in a blanket, since that was my go-to when I was 8 years old. Still delish. But only writing because I wanted to call out one of your servers, Meghan, who made the experience all the better- just a kind, warm person, in good humor, and very pleasant. Sometimes you just feel like someone is welcoming and enjoying their job, not just putting in hours. She’s an asset to this Shack!

Nice outdoor seating is set up for covid rules. The food we got was great. I had the lunch special, and it was better than anticipated. It wasn’t something I expected to get here – a quinoa walnut cranberry arugula salad. I ordered Cesar dressing on top. It was SO fulfilling! My friend got a traditional Mary’s salad and chicken tortilla soup that she has gotten for years. And of course, the fresh out of the oven breadsticks with butter. Parking is open here during the day at least and prices are reasonable.
