Wife likes this place. Cooking the skewers on the table make the experience unique. Lamb skewers were very tasty.

A low-key local store for skewers, soups and grilling food. I like the way they marinate, good enough, not too salty or oily (Usually Chinese food is). The Lamb skewers and Chicken gizzards are highly recommended. Stews are also on point. Fast service is a plus as well.

This place is a hidden gem in Edison, which is exactly why I am worried about writing this review. I do not want to see a day where there are lines outside of this restaurant, but the establishment does deserve all the praise I’m about to give.

We had a very bad first experience here many years ago, we decided to come back and try again, glad we did.

China–North Korea border style cuisine, super juicy bbq skewers(lamb was the best). LOVE the bbq machine, it automatically rotates, saved us from so much hustle!

WORST dining experience EVER. The food was way over priced considering the quantity and quality provided. As mentioned by lots of others, the big issue is the TIP. I was only half way through my dinner and the unhappy lady came to me asking me to pay. She provided no service at all- I got to find a seat by myself and asked for menu water and napkins a few times by myself, and even walk to the front desk to make orders by myself… Anyway she basically asked me how much I want to tip when I was still eating, and told me “it’s not an option” when I said “15% before tax”. The options she gave me were: 18%, 20% and 25% after tax. I really don’t want to ruin my night and had to pay 18% after tax, which was around 20% before tax- they definitely do NOT deserve it. Do NOT recommend this place.

Food is good, authentic. Overpriced but ok, since it is a unique place in this area that offers skewers. We usually tipped well. Just the owner/waitress is getting greedy and not hiding it – trying to rip off customers as much as possible like they know nothing of her tricks to make an extra few bucks…
