I’ve never tried Venezuelan food before but this place was great! Heard about them through social media and loved the food here. I had a mamey smoothie and a pabellon cachapa. The food was very different from anything I’ve eaten before but very delicious. The corn was a little sweet but not super sweet and the meet was very savory and the cheese was perfect. They give you two very thick salsas which are also delicious, but be warned the hot option is VERY hot. Overall a great place to eat that I will return to. Also want to thank the staff, they were so friendly and kind.

Cute restaurant with authentic dishes from Venezuela made from scratch. Food is absolutely delicious! I ordered the plate & it had a variety of tasty seasoned items. It was rich in flavors. There are some special green sauces on the table. One is non-spicy & the other is spicy “Wow”. Great to squeeze over your food. The portions are pretty big. I only ate half of my meal and excitedly took the other half home

Amazing little taste of Venezuelan cuisine in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, CA. Authentic Venezuelan food. Hard to find that.

Food taste in arepas fills is average. Cachapas are delicious! Rude staff specially when you have to deal with the older lady. Very rude and careless attention to customers. No A/C when we went. Too hot in July.

Adjust your expectations before heading to this restaurant. The tequeños dough was sweet, which I had never tried, and didn’t really like. I am not sure what kind of cheese they were filled with, but it was not mozarella or anything similar, which is better. The cachapas were tasty, but again, it wasn’t the right kind of cheese. I am not sure if they didn’t have queso de mano, but in my opinion, a cachapa shouldn’t be served with any other cheese. They didn’t have Malta Polar, which I think is the best. The bathroom smelled horrible, and there was no soap. If you don’t mind about these things, then you should be OK, but I am not coming back.

I love Mil Jugos and always look forward to the next time I’ll have opportunity to go. I live in Oceanside, so it’s a bit of a trip to go, but completely worth it! I always recommend tequenos. My personal favorite is cachapas con questions y crema! Everything I’ve had there is great, but I can’t not order my cachapa!! Go, you’ll love it!!

Very good place to explore the menu! Alfajores are super yummy. The camaron con tostones was very good. I also tried the plum juice and it was super tasty. If I’m ever in the area I have to stop-even if just for one cheese arepa-which that itself is worth the drive. Staff doesn’t speak English any time I’ve been helped but doesn’t make a difference we figure it out and everybody has been polite and patient.

Years ago I had a venezuelan cachapa with a friend from Venezuela. It was one of the most wonderful things I ate and it was in Santa Ana! I could never remember the place. So when I came across this place on Google and read the reviews… I gotta admit I was skeptical… however when I went with a friend of mine. I was NOT disappointed. We were greeted like family when we walked in. I found a parking right out in front…I ordered a Mamey drink and it was SO well balanced, it was Goldilocks in terms of sweet. I ordered an empanada, a chicken cachapa, two arepas… I stuffed myself silly and it was worth every bite and every penny! I wanted to hug the laddies in the kitchen, but I didn’t want to be a weirdo so I didn’t lol. The food has so much love and attention to detail, it’s totally OG. Some people have commented that it’s pricy, I would very much disagree with that notion. This is a gem of a business, it’s not fast food and it’s not made for the masses… so I happily support a business that cares enough to make every dish and every visit a memorable one.
