As someone that is a staunch believer that deep-dish is a pizza-adjacent food, Milly’s standouts out a solid option. There pies are hefty and have a strong flavorful sauce. The ricotta cheese topping was a highlight on the Clickbait Pie. They do not sell by the slice so be prepared to be very full or have some leftovers if you are a solo dinner.

This pizza absolutely lived up to every ounce of the hype! The crispy cheese crust is delish and the toppings are on point (definitely get the ricotta!), but my very favorite element was the bright, salty tomato sauce. I could eat a bowl of just that sauce! Stylistically, I see a lot of folks calling it deep dish, but it’s definitely pan pizza (as the name suggests); much thicker than tavern style, but not the cheese bomb you sometimes get in deep dish. With a limited number of pies available weekly, you’ll want to order ahead, but it’s well worth a little advance planning!

WOW! THE BEST PIZZA we’ve ever had in Chicago….Every single bite was packed with flavors and you could just see, smell and taste the freshness. All the ingredients were distributed evenly so the flavors were balanced. The crust is HEAVENLY delicious! If you want this delicious pizza you must order it ahead of time because they only make certain amount of pizza per day (in another word everything is fresh and sold daily!) They also offer great costumer service! 10/10

This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! The tomato sauce is flavorful, the veggies are fresh, & the crust is scrumptious! The pizza also looks amazingly appetizing. I drove about an hour to pick up the pizza and it was definitely worth it. Can’t wait to try again!

It’s so rare to find some place that lives up to 100% of the hype, but Milly’s absolutely does. I have only had real Chicago style deep dish a few times in my life, but I cannot imagine how it could possibly be done better. The crust, the toppings, the sauce, all perfectly balanced. If you can eat here, you should eat here. You owe it to yourself.
