Really good Chinese food and extremely fast service. Staff is very attentive and friendly. We ordered 3 appetizers and two main menu items (the most expensive) with two beers. It was way too much food for two. The bill was 95$, which is fairly priced for the amount of food. We definitely want to come back soon. Maybe a smaller order next time.

We stopped in here again 9 months after the last time. Once again, everything was great. We really like the fact this place is not like the old Dim Sum places which have carts that come around to the table and then you have to ask them to see everything they have and make a selection. Here you simply use their tablet to view all the Dim Sum they offer and select the items you want along with the quantity of each item and they bring out your order very quickly.

I was not a big fan of this restaurant. I was excited to try it due to the reviews and high ratings and the fact that it was around the corner from my hotel, but it was a very mediocre experience. The food was not very good, at least not for my meal. I ordered the rangoons/crab puffs and they came out in less than 2 minutes and were cold and the pastry was very doughy which made me feel like they had been made a while ago and served to whoever asked for them first and not fried fresh. It made them hard to eat and not appetizing at all. They were not crunchy and did not have good texture which was disappointing since the filling had potential. The portion only came with 4 but they were large so I was okay with it until I had a taste. I also got the pan seared wontons and they also felt very cold and the filling was very unseasoned so it made them hard to eat. Out of the 6 that came with it, I could only eat half of one since they were not very good at all. I’m addition, I ordered the chicken fried rice. It took 25 minutes for the rice to get to my table and someone it was still cold and unseasoned. I was in Chicago for a conference so I dined by myself and it also felt like the staff was not attentive to my table or took longer to come by and even to get seated since I was alone. I pretty much got my check soon after getting my last dish since I just wanted to head out. I even ended up picking up a sandwich on the way back to the hotel since I was still hungry. Not worth the $40 price I had to pay for a meal I didn’t even enjoy or eat much of. Maybe they just had an off day, but this was just my honest experience. The only staff that was friendly and attentive was the Hispanic waiter that was on top of refilling my water and was giving friendly smiles to everyone.

My all time fav dim sum places. Highly recommend the chicken feet, the texture is very soft and tender, and it’s very delicious! Other dim sums are very good too! Service was fair, didn’t get drinks refill, waited quite long for the check, but they help us out with packing leftovers! One thing about Minghin is the location, it has multiple locations and not very well marked on map when u try to reserve a table, it’s very easy to get confused and meet at wrong places with friends. Be sure to be aware of the location confusion.

Absolutely fantastic! This restaurant has dim sum and is family style, meaning youre meant to share the plates. They bring tablets to your table where you can select the items you’d like then the server will complete your order and food will come out as prepared. We enjoyed getting a few appetizers, some dim sum and then got two main dishes (pork fried rice & beef broccoli) to share between the two of us. Portions are generous staff is friendly service is efficient. Tons of options. Seasonal patio seating. Really neat interior. Definitely had left overs.

Literally stunning, fun drinks, fun menu items, it was great fresh juicy food and the fried rice made me shiver and gave me a homey feeling. We ordered too much tho! Choose an app and an entree and split it the portions are huge 🙂
