Really nice guy operating the pick up station, but the orange chicken was past it’s prime. Smelled spoiled. Breading immediately fell off of every piece. Just a fat Tupperware of soft mush. Inedible. The exact opposite of fresh and appetizing. Suggests to me they actually don’t know how to cook the simple dish of orange chicken. Hopefully it was just a random fluke. But can’t say I’m gonna go try again.

I have had my eye on this location for some time now, maybe a couple years or so, but the opportunaty or desire for Chinese food hits me only relatively infrequently, and Mon Lung is a bit of a walk from where I live, I decided today was the day, I wanted some Chinese cuisine, or rather Chinanese American cuisine, the origins of the dish I was craving is somewhat disputed.

My favorite neighborhood Chinese take out place. I no longer live close by and miss it so much. The POTSTICKERS are bomb…my absolute favorite. Nice portions, fair prices, family run…I still think about those potstickers and stop by when I am in the area. Closed Mondays, the day I seem to always crave Chinese :). Probably the most secure restaurant in the ‘hood…always cops in there. You know it’s good when the police frequent a joint

This place has great food the best in Chicago for sure hands down. If you come to Chicago for a vacation make sure you stop in for there food. Unfortunately they do not do dine anymore in which is a bummer. Since I have to travel and eat in my car now. Which is why I don’t visit this place that often as before

Good Chinese food! Sesame chicken is excellent as well as their fried rice and egg drop soup! My go to Chinese food for the area! Service is attentive and welcoming. Usually a sports game on the tv including tennis (go Fed)
