I was out walking and saw Moustaki signage on a building. I suddenly made plans to dine here. I received a Menu in my mailbox and recognized the Moustaki name. A fantastic treat! I chose the Loukaniko Entrée with wheat pita and tzatziki, waffle fries and roasted vegetables. The gyro is tiny like the size of a small taco, the meat was pretty dry, and it didn’t have much flavor. I ordered the pork gyro with everything on it. Not worth $13.00 in my opinion. In comparison to the other Greek/gyro restaurants in the Philadelphia area, this one is at the bottom of my list.

Such a great find! Nice neighborhood gyro place for lunch on a nice sunny day where the breeze can come through the big open windows. The moustaki platter is perfect for two people!

Stopped by here when the $14 sandwich at the museum didn’t sound appealing. So glad i made the <5 minute walk, the food was delicious! I had the lamb gyro, and i was really hoping it'd be shaved lamb, but unfortunately it was those little strips of ground lamb. Oh well, i get that shaved lamb might be too exotic for the locals and they can't justify stocking it. At least the strips were tasty - they didn't taste like they'd been stuck in the back of the freezer for 6 months or more. The pita was amazing, though! So fresh and doughy, and lightly grilled on the outside. Add a side of perfectly cooked and seasoned waffle fries, and a little bottle of Greek orange soda, and we were happy campers.

The Gyro Fries are incredible. The Loukoumades are even better. Loved trying this place and eating outside across from the Franklin Institute.

A really neat place, but kind of inconsistent. And when it is good, it is so good. But when it is not so good, it is kind of average, but still pretty good. Sometimes the meat is super fresh, and sometimes it is tossed on the grill and heated up, and it tastes a little leftover at that point. They also add fries to the gyros. A nice touch, but sometimes they use waffle fries, and those are not too good in the sandwich, and sometimes the fries taste like they have been sitting in a heating tray for far too long.

I stopped in here for lunch a few days ago, and opted for the Lamb Gyro Platter. I chose the lemon potatoes and the gigantic beans as sides. It was a very filling and delicious meal and highly recommended if you have skipped breakfast.

What a great find right next to the Franklin Institute. The service was fast and friendly. The food was very tasty (especially the Gyro Fries)! Definitely the best value we’ve had in the city! This will absolutely be a regular everytime we go the the Franklin Institute.
