Like many, heard about this place from The Bear, but if you haven’t, don’t let that stop you. Got an Italian beef hot (peppers) and juicy (dunked in juice). Woah, so flavorful and tender! It’s juicy and messy, and though I wasn’t hungry, demolished it quickly. It’s warm inside where you order, but they have a small dining room with AC. Went on a Tuesday around 1030am and wasn’t busy. Wish I had a few more days to try some of their other stuff. Got a second beef to go for a snack later in the day. Bring cash.

After binge watching both seasons of The Bear recently I had to try this place out on a recent trip to Chicago for myself and am happy I did. Awesome, fun, and friendly staff and a delicious Italian beef sandwich. We ate in the elegant dining room and made some new friends. Now I have the wife watching the show with me.

This place is incredible. I came here from Arizona for the windy city cookout, found Mr Beef on Google. I’m so glad that I went there, I actually stopped by twice. Such a cool spot, great service. The hot combo is the way to go don’t forget about those fries and the chili cheese dog.

We first heard about this place through the show on Hulu. I’m sure that drives the locals nuts but I’m so glad we did. We have fallen in love with Chicago through the eyes of the show and knew our summer vacation had to include a stop to the original. It was everything we thought it would be. We loved it. Loved the atmosphere and food and staff. The family dining style seating was a great experience.

Came here on a trip from out of town, had to visit after bingeing The Bear. Really great service and fun atmosphere, I love the basket of fortune cookies at the counter. Messy sandwich but they give you plenty of napkins. Would recommend!
