This place looks so cool and old school! Finally got to try this place and OMG the Pretzel Burger was delicious got some egg and bacon in there. Had to order me a gyro too, everything was just delicious. Definitely have to come back and get more food. They got everything salads, pasta, soups, burgers, gyros, Italian beef, shakes, malts, shrimp, ribs, etc. Going to come back soon!

I’ve lived In Tarpon Springs, FL so I know what authentic Greek food tastes like.

We’ve been ordering from here since it opened, it’s been wonderful having a mostly American restaurant and Greek as well there’s not that many in this area I do like the restaurants that are around here, however sometimes you have a taste for a burger or Gyro. Everything has been wonderful from sub sandwiches to chicken dinners / sandwiches I believe we’ve ordered everything on the menu all these years and have never been disappointed and if something is accidentally forgotten, they always make up for it and seemed genuinely disappointed. They make you know that you are an important person to their business. And I must address the delivery drivers have all been absolutely wonderful, polite and just all-around good people. A great place to go to if you’re looking for clean, delicious, All-American / other nationalities and a good price. And importantly, just nice people all around.

Despite living in the area for 18 years I never tried this place until today, I have to say it’s probably one of the best hamburger places I’ve ever been to, service is top notch, cashier was friendly and I like the vibe and theme of the restaurant. 10/10 will come back another day.

The food is delicious. My favorite is the gyro with jalapeno poppers but they already know this, as soon as they either see me or hear my voice over the phone. Slam dunk. Other favorites include the cheeseburger and the philly cheese steak sandwich, with many more menu items for me to try. Lastly, God bless the owner and the employees over there. They are very good and are prominent within the community.

Food is actually good. The issue I had was over hearing the two Spanish cooks talking about a African American customer. The young lady that was cashiering saw that I noticed and motioned them to stop. Very bad experience, definitely won’t be returning.

Not at all what we expected. The italian beef tasted like it was dipped in water, no beef flavor at all. The cheeseburger was very dry and over cooked. The fries were good.

My fellow out of towners, if you are staying in this area and want to eat some good Chicago food, look no further. If you have children like I do , you know we can’t drive 30 mins to a place that may or may not have Chicago’s “best” gyro, Italian beef sandwich or other Chicago favorite. Mr. Gees was less than 10 mins away and had such a variety. I tried their chicken and regular gyro. I also had an Italian beef. You will be asked if you want it spicy or sweet and dipped or dry. I ordered mine spicy and dry. Not a fan of soggy bread but to each his own. Everything had great flavor. I can’t say that the gyros tasted like the most authentic Greek gyros. All I know is that they were good. Prices are a plus. About $7 per sandwich. The people working there are very friendly and helpful for those of us that might not know what to order. I saw many regulars come in and chat with the employees. Dont be surprised if the employees spark up a conversation while you wait. If you’re staying close to Mr. Gees , don’t go to a fast food place, give this neighborhood favorite a try. I almost forgot , this place has a parking lot with plenty of parking so no need to parallel park on the street.
