Let me tell you hands down the best Jamaican food south of the james, the flavor, the serving size, the price point !!! Ordered 4 meals for dinner 1 curry chicken was cooked perfectly cabbage with carrots amazing , the oxtail dinner was fall off the bone tender deep robust herbs and spices, the jerk chicken was smoked/grilled to perfection nice bark on the skin jerk was soft but loud , last but not least we have the stewed chicken and the color let me know it was for real gristle melted I couldn’t believe it wasn’t butter our new favorite black owned business #buyblack

I order jerk chicken but i got burnt chicken. There was no seasoning on the chicken and it was burnt. Food was dry had no gravy and cabbage seemed like it was boiled also unseason.just plan burnt and nasty and dry.

Got the large jerk chicken with rice&peas and mac, and some coco bread. Just incredible. I can only imagine this is what Jamaican soul food is supposed to be like. You can feel the heart and soul that is put into this food with every bite. Definitely ordering again.

The Great thing about Mums Kitchen is the Portions I ordered the Lg oxalis with peas & rice and cabbage. The food has No Spice at all. I also ordered a small jerk chicken and again no spice!!!!! I thought Jamaican food was suppose to be flavorful and spicy? Not the case
