Not the best. The mac and cheese was cold and didnt taste very good. The black eyed peas where like mush and the baked chicken was way over cooked and dry. I will say I did enjoy the piece of fried chicken it had a good crust and flavor and the greens where good. I don’t think it will make my list of regular stops.

If you are looking for a delicious, Sunday dinner or just a great meal throughout the week, then Nicole’s Restaurant and Market is the place to go. My grandson and I purchased meals from there and they were absolutely delicious. The food was seasoned to perfection and the staff was friendly. Congratulations to the owners and to the staff. Keep up the great work. This was an excellent take-out dining experience. We will DEFINITELY be back again soon.

Staff very friendly but I wish I had looked at buffet b4 paying. Only thing I like of the few choices was fried chicken. No mash potatoes no mac n cheese they have biscuits but no gravy. No corn out. Some real unattractive potatoe tot dish, greens veg choices pretty bad. So I played 9 $ for all the fried chicken I could eat. Also the young lady who pours the tea dip the tea picture spout in my tea when pouring. It will be my last trip.

11:50 AM on a Wednesday at lunch rush. The backed chicken was very cold. The cabbage was sweet and shouldn’t be sweet and barely warm. The black eyed peas tasted very much out of a can. The chicken and rice was flavorless canned soup. The female owner never once welcomed us as we fave her our money upon entering!! Nor did she thank us from two feet beside us as we departed!!! Not good country cooking! Never! The male owner thanked us from across the room and told us to visit again. Sorry sir, I won’t waste my money again.

I was told about this place by a buddy that lives in Cochran and finally got to try it, the folks that work here are super friendly and are happy to serve you, the food was amazing fresh and hot, and I was shocked at what all you get for the price of the meal, this place is what you would call a true soul food restaurant!I will definitely try and make this place my go to when I’m in Cochran! And when I say I was shocked I got a chicken breast and wing, and 3 veggies, a bread, a desert, and a drink for under $10!

Food on bar cold an old Especially the barbecue ribs the pork was old and the sauce was nasty other than that it didn’t look too appealing the rest of the stuff. Service was good but but the food wasn’t price was great

I thoroughly enjoyed lunch today at Truett’s. I went today with a couple of friends and it was delicious. They have a buffet. You pay first then head to the buffet. I had the fried chicken, peas, green beans and banana pudding. They also had baked chicken, fried pork chops, turnip greens, corn, corn bread, biscuits, cake, and several other vegetables. I will definitely go back.

Nice country buffet nestled in Cochran. The staff, especially the cashier, were plain lovely to be around. The same can be said for the food. A relaxing, nice place to be after college classes. Reminds me of Grandma’s place.
