First time here. The food was very flavorful. They certainly know how to use their spices. We ordered the meat combo with 3 veggies. We included red lentil stew, mushrooms, and green beans and carrot. We also tried the cheese appetizer which we really liked. They also make a good cup of coffee and chai.

Inviting atmosphere and service. Delicious vegan options. I loved my first taste of Ethiopian cuisine with the vegetarian combo. Will come back again soon!

I visited here on the Discover Richmond Food Tour (Lindsey was our tour guide and she was amazing), and the food was amazing. I am now in love with injera! The owners were friendly and warm!

Got two entrees and two apps to go because we saw the high ratings and we love Ethiopian food. Very small portions and the injera was disgusting, almost smelt moldy and if they do it correctly then their sour dough starter is old. Ridiculously overpriced for the quality and quantity. Will not be going again and very upset that we spent over $60 for 4 bites.

I rarely eat at restaurants because I’m picky. But I’ve never been disappointed here. The food is excellent, the staffs cool and it’s got nice atmosphere/decoration.

When you walk in it immediately smells amazing. Ended up getting two meat dishes both of which came with a veggie as well as the three vegetarian combo to share between two people. The potatoes and the mushrooms were probably the favorites of the vegetables and both the meat dishes were fabulous. Service was quick. Will be going back.

I’ve never had Ethiopian food before. Visiting from Massachusetts, my partner and I tried Nile for dinner. It was amazing. So flavorful, everything was delicious, and the food filled us up – we hadn’t eaten all day. 10000/5 stars.

Super tasty authentic Ethiopian food! These guys are awesome. They explained the different dishes and gave great suggestions. No silverware to eat with though, just this cool flatbread called injera to use to scoop up the food and chow it, love it! Highly recommend if you’re in the area
