My husband and I have been wanting to dine at Nisi for quite some time. Last night we finally decided to try it out, and we are SO GLAD we did. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile, the environment felt intimate yet inviting. Our server Patricia was AMAZING She was extremely informative and made some great suggestions from the drinks to the food it was all delicious. We can not wait to come back.

First visited a month or so after they opened, was blown away by the quality of the food, everything tasted fresh, from bread to Humus with smoked paprika, grilled seafood appetizers etc, and attentive service. Visited another restaurant nearby and tried the exact same dish – Lamb Shank and Orzo – which tasted as if it the lamb was microwaved, and canned tomatoes was used for the sauce.

Saw this place during our walk around Spencer Smith Park and fell in love with the patio atmosphere so we decided to check it out. It did not disappoint. We had Chicken Souvlaki and it was absolutely delicious and SO flavourful. Highly recommend trying their food. It is SO worth it.

I have always loved NISI. The food and atmosphere have always been top notch. I have been there several times and even had my bridal shower there last year. Today was my birthday and I chose NISI for my birthday dinner. After my experience tonight, unfortunately I will not be going back for a while. Our reservation for a party of 8 was at 6:30 pm. Drinks and appetizers were great. We ordered entrees at 7:15 pm and then we wait. Our waiter was apologetic and told us the kitchen was backed up. We did ask several times what the hold up was. It got to the point where we were going to cancel our entrees and get the check. The manager came over and explained that one of their ovens was out and our food would be out shortly. Another 20 minutes go by and we get our entrees, after 9 pm. My entree was not great and definitely seemed rushed. We were comped dessert. The manger only came to our table twice. Point being, be upfront with your patrons. Had we known the oven was out maybe we could have switched entrees etc. I felt more could have defiantly been done or said, especially when they knew up front it was a special occasion.

The food and sangria was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the dishes and the food and meats were cooked perfectly. There is something on the menu for everyone. Honestly, it’s a hidden gem and feels like a cool restaurant downtown chicago. So happy to have it something so close and in the suburbs! Will definitely be going back.

Pleasantly surprised. Real good quality fresh foods. Perfect cook on the shrimp for the apps and my pasta. Sauce with the shrimp app was great. Kitchen did a great job start to finish. My shrimp pasta was a slight bit salty for me but the over all was good. Fresh homemade pasta was noticeable. The octopus was excellent though. For me it was the highlight. Desserts were all made in house as well. Or selection of 5 different items did not disappoint. Katrina was pleasant and welcoming, she’s a great Front of House person. Hostess at the front was pleasant and friendly as well. Server did have to make some adjustments on a couple checks in our group but she was really running for our group. Like the place and look forward to returning.

Wow, the steak here is one of the best I’ve ever tasted anywhere. Dry aged and cooked to perfection, I was delightfully surprised. The service was very good and the waitress always attentive. The saganaki sticks were tasty and lit on fire once served as expected, but a little bit different than typical saganaki in a good way. The salmon was cooked appropriately and was not dry at all. Everything came together nicely. Getting the cheaper $40 bottle of wine was an okay choice. It wasn’t great but somewhat expected for the price. The creme brulee left something to be desired. The space is more casual than the other Gino’s-owned restaurants but still nice. It has an outdoor section as well as a bar in addition to regular seating. The decor is strange with sponge-like attachments hanging on the ceiling.
