The restaurant is small, intimate, and themed beautifully. The downside is that there is no valet parking or designated parking. Having to locate parking in Lincoln Park on the street, depending on the time, is almost a deterrent from coming here. The dress code is quite casual. Less than I expect from most Michelin star restaurants. The food was okay. Definitely some very infused flavors, but the waygu beef and beef cheek was less than desirable. Time between each course was appropriate. One of the people in my parties had the crab, and it was okay, not Michelin star quality. The chocolate truffle dessert was good, but the toasted marshmallow tasted like tuna fish. Very strange. The presentation was less than elevated. The server was great when we did get to speak with him.

This was my first experience at a Michelin Star restaurant and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant is located in a beautiful park setting. The service we received was top notch from the moment we stepped inside. Our server(s) were all very well versed in the menu and seemed enthusiastic about the dining experience they were providing. The tasting menu was a clear step above anything else I have experienced. Each course was beautifully presented and the flavours were complex and well constructed. It would be hard to pick a favourite but the lamb and dates plate was amazing. The chef treated us to an extra amuse bouche as well as a fermented fruit drink that were both unexpected and very enjoyable! We were there late and as the dining room was quieting down, Chef Cesar offered to take us up to see the garden and the beehives that are kept on the roof – we enjoyed the opportunity to thank him personally for such a great experience and to see where some of the amazing meal came from. We even got to sample some of the edible flowers and other treats. (the honey they make is delicious with a very unique floral flavour – try the cheese plate to get a nice taste of it).

Very good food overall. We did the tasting menu, which offered delicious, interesting, and diverse flavors. I’d recommend the tuna tartar and lamb options. Desserts were excellent as well. The pond nearby is a beautiful backdrop to a dinner date.

Great service and decent food! The ambiance is even better. Located inside Lincoln Park/nature museum area. Next to the real “north pond”. Perfect place for brunch. Three course menu with $49 per person.

TBH I was skeptical about visiting this restaurant given limited reviews on google maps and their limited social media presence.

First, the service was amazing. Extremely professional and well above and beyond a typical dining experience. The plating and presentation of the food was exquisite. We had huge smiles on our faces just watching the dishes arrive. And the flavors were complex and novel. I tasted combinations I’ve never tasted before, and they were enlightening. Highly recommend treating yourself to this experience if you can.

A wonderful night and an excellent dining experience. Three of us came here to celebrate a birthday, and we all ordered from the tasting menu. I am glad that they gave you different choices of each course. So we picked different ones on the menu. Impeccable taste, excellent presentation, superb services. They hit out of the park.

Cozy, classy, indulgent, decadent, surprisingly well-priced. Went here for our 1 year anniversary and had the full menu and wine pairing. I had the veggie options. The menu is seasonal and we went in the fall, so it was full of warm, nut, squash, apple, rich flavors. The service was phenomenal, as was the space. Honestly going here was such an experience – each plate was full of developing flavors and textures. We had a reservation a handful of weeks prior to our anniversary and they even decorated a plate for us and wrote happy anniversary on our menus. We also enjoyed looking at the skyline and wandering the park after our delicious meal. Highly recommend!
